Taycan in the Netherlands: where do you have your insurance?

Hello dutch Taycan-owners.
Receiving my first Taycan 4S from 2022 in about 2 weeks. (She is imported from Germany). I am looking into insurance of the car. WHere did you take your insurance? At Porsche (expensive but very good conditions) or at a Dutch insurance company?
Do you have tips on what to pay special attention to? (E.g. Accessoires maximum insured price)

Hi,

In NL Porsche uses Turien & Co to provide the insurance. A very similar insurance is available with them via other brokers. Going with Porsche gives you free/included coverage for Porsche track days, going direct you can get 5 years purchase value and/or no-claim protection, there is an higher contribution if you want the repair to be done by Porsche (but still cheaper taking that into account).
I shopped around and AAB were the cheapest and I'm happy with the service (for negotiation and modifications, lucky enough not to have claimed so far).

I looked around but no other company provided the extended purchase value protection and/or allow to repair with Porsche. It seemed to be all in all the best coverage.

Ik ben gewoon bij Interpolis verzekerd. All-risc circa 170 p.m. wel destijds een passieve peilzender in laten bouwen. Of dit nog nodig is met Porsche VTS weet ik op dit moment niet. Zeer tevreden echter, bij ruit schade gewoon originele voorruit mogen plaatsen.

ABN, be careful with “comparison” sites, most don’t show all available companies.

Looking into changing ABN to something that will allow me to repair at Porsche.

Consumentenbond or pricewise are your friend .

The Porsche class 5 alarm (with certificate) was good enough for ABN

Just got my 2022 Taycan as well last December, self imported from Belgium.
I got Allianz Direct after comparing many different insurers, so far it has the cheapest rate at EUR85/monthly with 8 schadevrije jaar.

I've got mine (also German import) insured at Porsche (Porsche Excellence Insurance via Turien). No SCM, VTS needed. Just the factory fitted immobiliser was required.

More curious as to what you all are paying! The Porsche insurance was way more expensive for me.
Born 1992, 9 years “claim free”, 30-40k km a year paying 210€/month all risk at ABN, thinking of switching to Avero or Bovemij because of the ability to pick your repair shop (Porsche dealer…). Both are also 20 a month cheaper, but I never heard of these insurers.

Porsche insurance quoted me 386 a month… Politely declined..

Centraal Beheer

Centraal Beheer is veel te duur.
Da's exact de reden dat ik vorig jaar overgestapt ben naar Interpolis.
Bij Centraal Beheer zou ik, na hun laatste verhoging, zo'n €340/maand gaan betalen (incl. collectiviteitskorting nota bene!).
Bij Interpolis is dat €210/maand, all risk.
Wat een verschil hè?

Ik zie bij Interpolis dat een Total loss tot dagwaarde uitkering lijdt ipv aanschafwaarde. Meer maatschappijen hebben dit (Univé, abnamro, OHRA, veenstra&de jong in ieder geval) En wat is dan de dagwaarde he, auto staat niet in de anwb koerslijst.
die maatschappijen zijn inmiddels allemaal al afgevallen om die reden! Ik heb er nog wat te bellen en dan wordt het kiezen.
premies variëren tot nu toe tussen 1158 (ohra) en 3056 (Porsche)! Dat is met 20 schadevrije jaren dus max korting
HERSTEL: interpolis is 3 jaar aanschafwaarde

Het is gewoon lastig als je een dure auto wil verzekeren.
Daarom ben ik blij dat ik bij Centraal Beheer terecht kon (ivm collectiviteitskorting), nu dus bij Interpolis (zonder collectiviteitskorting).
Volgens mij is het trouwens vrij gebruikelijk dat je na 3 jaar alleen nog de dagwaarde krijgt.

Klopt. Die kreeg ik ook meerdere malen! Meestal 2-3 jaar aanschafwaarde en daarna dagwaarde (al dan niet +10%). Mijn lijstje krimpt gestaag
