Nicely done! and great info ... The 'major' service is every 6 years when they replace pads - and possibly discs too.... :O

For us with PSCB/PCCB that's gonna hurt! ... that's when it could be worth investigating an accredited indie and potential impact on warranty/history etc....
:surprised:Jes… is it mandatory even with 60+% left on these PCCBs?

Not 100% sure with PCCBs, but the pads are mandatory on PSCB at 6 years regardless of wear - It's an age thing - 6 years max allowed under warranty if you want an official service.... I assume same for PCCB.

I sincerely hope not - the Taycan hardly uses the mechanical brakes so the wear will be minimal. The cost, however, will not be 😲.

Maybe it's an excuse to change the car before 6 years... 😉

Absolutely agree about wear .. But it's in the published maintenance schedule - Will be a lot cheaper at an accredited indie, but need to consider any warranty and resale history implications (if any).... Discs are not mandatory thank goodness (10k+)! They depend on inspection..

..........Every 6 Years / 60,000 MilesIncludes all basic 2-year service items.Additional Work: Replacement of brake pads (regardless of wear) and battery coolant checks.

See attached....

6 year service quote received today:

Standard brakes on this one -

Porsche Taycan UK service & costs 1780524096169-51

Mr AI suggests:
Therefore, if you have standard brakes, your total out-of-pocket invoice at a main dealer will likely land between £1,800 and £2,400. If you have PSCB or PCCB upgrades, the total bill will hover closer to £5,500 to £5,800.
