Hi guys
After owning a 4s for 4 years , I bought a 2022 December Turbo S with 16.000kms which was dealer registered couple of months ago. I live in Istanbul, Turkey. The car has lots of extra’s like rear axle, 360 camera, pdls etc.
I realized that there was no smart lift function which I always used on 4S. Dealer did some resets and changed a unit and nothing changed. There is no smart lift function at all in the menu. (Of course it has air suspension and working fine)
Dealer told me that they will wait for a solution from Germany.
Today my dealer told me; Germany made research and I don’t have the smart lift function at all from factory in turbo S which is not standard equipment.
I’m so confused because smart lift seems as a standard feature of air suspension and there are lots of posts of smartlift disappearing from the menu as a failure.
I checked my old 2021 4s equipment list and there is nothing special like’smart lift’. It just says ‘airsuspension’as a standard feature.
Any ideas? How can I make sure I don’t have it? I’m suspicious Germany is making a mistake.

Complete nonsense from dealer and Germany.

Smart Lift is standard with Air Suspension mind you on a 2022 Turbo S.

You must have the Lift button on the instrument cluster, but that is just a manual Lift.

Smart Lift is different which is a GPS signal dependent automatic lift using Saved GPS points and does disappear from menus when that signal is not available. Therefore, you need to go down the path of making sure the car is getting reliable GPS signal.

Mine does disappear from time to time so I am trained now to double check that it is actually Smart Lifting when I approach my Saved GPS points.

I know how to use the Smart Lift very well but it is not even in the menu. Also automatic save option does not pop up when you manually lift the car.Is there another way to check the GPS signal? How come dealer can not do it then? They even did a total reset process.Another thing is I was using it perfectly with 2021 4S even tough porche connect is not active in Turkey because of some sim card regulation.

Yeah I know all of it very very well from my previous 4s. But it is not even in the vehicle setting menu..And does not ask to save the location when I manually lift the car…

Do a hard reset:
Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12v
Drain all power
Wait 30 minutes and connect the 12v again.

Does your map GPS location work properly, that would be the first thing to check.
Second thing I noticed that needs to be active is your Porche ID needs to be logged in and accepted with Car showing in the App.
Third, I would check if the car has a Red SOS light meaning that the car is not connected to corporate servers which may or may not have impact.

Thank you but I don’t think I can do that. Also dealer told me they did the hard reset before consulting Germany

Yeah I can see the location correctly on the navigation map. Well I’m not sure about the Porsche Id since we cannot use the app active in Turkey but it’s the same with other taycans smart lift working properly.
The Sos light is not red also

The point was evidence for the Porsche dealer to fix it... you do indeed have it and it's standard on all 2022 Taycans. That was the point of your post, yes?

Exactly, when I first took the car to the dealer they made an unsuccesful hard reset and then changed a part which came from Germany after 2 weeks. It was not fixed after changing the part and asked Germany again. After almost a month Germany’s answer was; My car didn’t have smart lift at all which was an option!!
I think there is something wrong🤔🤔

Why don't you state that you have the lift button on cluster? Taycans that did not have smart lift did not have the button. example
