EU/UK: Ongoing navigation issues [Solved with PCM v3892]

Was the PCM that was replaced the same hardware version that was in the car originally, or was a newer PCM hardware version installed?

If that is aimed at my post: Great question. I had the same thought but since it was unexpected that it needed replacing I have not noted down what version it had before.

Newer hardware, same as MY25 cars. 2020-2025 cars seem to get the same PCM hardware put in them when a replacement is needed, at least here in switzerland.

My26 has different hardware, at least by part code.

Various software and hardware versions. What a support nightmare.

after the new PCM and update last month I fel in love again with the Taycan. It is such a nice car.

What year is your car and what version of software is on it now? I'm trying to gather some info so I have more facts when I visit the dealer for stupid stuff that is happening.

I was told footage was desirable but not necessary.

I have had an abysmal experience from Porsche since purchase so I’m anticipating friction at every possible opportunity

Just lemme know if you want it. It is unused since my PC didn’t need any proof

Wow! Mine (Silverstone) didn't but I had been complaining about it a while.

I now have this issue. PCM Nav constantly crashes and reloads the map loosing the destination and plan. I'm on PCM 3882 and in France. I recently did a software update but this has not updated the PCM version.

So the question is do I need to get this version installed by the dealer. I though we could do OTA.
