It's the facelift. Issue is only on J1.1
not only on J1.1.
I had problems with Nav on J1.2… apparently lots of updates needs to be performed, they wanted to hold my car in the shop for two-three days 🤦🏻‍♂️ that’s why i postoponed it for late September.

Mine is at the dealership receiving the update as we speak.

After this is resolved, I swear I am extremely happy with the car, electronics and all. Sure it could have a few extra goodies in the way of features, or a bit better range, but overall I am super pleased and wouldn't trade for many other things out there.

Wait til your AC charger needs replaced as it won't charge your car on a ski trip, your failed fans leave you in Turtle mode in the middle of France, your DCDC converter orange rings every time you use a 400V charger and then 5 out of 7 stepper motors in the HVAC fail.

oh and then the navi crashes for 5 months.

I've not had the car 3 years and it's mid 70k miles and has left me stranded or struggling 4 times.

My 150k mile 8 year old Tesla has never done any of this (and it's hardly a paragon of reliability) but at least Tesla service are superb unlike Porsche....

Taycan is a great car to drive and mine is fairly well loaded but it's really a very poor EV.

For super long trips, the Taycan keys stay on the hook.

I agree I had the car only since October last year, but I've put already 22k km on it, so I'd argue that's given me a bit of a glimpse on what the ownership will be like. And so far, except from the navigation issue and the 22kw OBC crapping out, it's been literally stellar and without a fault.

I own 4 other cars, and in long trips, it's the Taycan I take. Maybe I am the exception, and 99% of them are lemons. Mine, however, at least for the time being, is not.

Fair enough!

Facelift? Or late model J1.1?
