I would not consider going anywhere in winter over here with anything less than proper winter tires on such a heavy and powerful car. Insurance would be void in case of an accident without proper ”shoes”.

Just back from a smallish road trip to a section of the Loanliest Road in America, Hwy 50 nearly 800 miles crossing peaks of 8500ft/2600m. Failed to get a good snow picture with the car, I was too busy passing folks and afraid to loose my position ?.

Anyway, here is the Shoe Tree outside Fallon, Nevada

and Sand Mountain Recreational Area, a popular off-road vehicle destination in the high desert. It is truly bizarre seeing this giant sand dune amoung all the rocks and hills in the surrounding area. Had a fair amount of acknowledgment from folks in the area when driving on the sand.

I didn’t drive very far on sand this time so no issues. The real beach day I took it 10 miles on sand, that took several washes to get out of door jams and air scoops.

What color is this?

I would say with some confidence it is Dolomite Silver in the evening sun. It was one of my top 3 color choices.
