Performance plus battery definitely makes a difference - my RWD is fully optioned, but one thing it doesn't have is performance plus battery.

Range shown is a guess-o-meter, based loosely on your past driving. Once you enter the destination in Porsche navigation, the range is calculated a lot more precisely - that is not to say it is guaranteed, as I've had it be very wrong in the past (especially when traveling to cold climate after having driven around in warm climate), but it's a lot more accurate than the range shown on battery screen. My point is, the guess-o-meter is such a loose estimate, that it changes after only a few miles of anther driver - my wife has an eTron, after only one drive of 20 miles by me, the range shown at subsequent charge 80% changes by a few miles.

In other words, want your range to show high numbers, go for a nice hypermiling drive.

That is too low. Take your battery down to 10-15% charge and let it sit overnight and see if you throw any error codes. That's what they had to do with mine, and they found 2 bad cells.

Would they fix the bad cell or replace the battery etc?

The second time they identified bad cells, they replaced the entire battery. That was June 2024 - not sure what the policy is now.

For those of you with close to 300 miles range, what wheels are you running? And do you drive super carefully? Because the most I’ve gotten is 255 when I drive in city traffic.

21” Mission E. It’s mostly city driving and I only drive carefully due to the number of police out in my area because of schools. I normally get 3.5 mi/kWh because of that. Freeway driving is around 3
