No. They insinuate it runs same software as the Macan Ev and Cayenne Ev, which is a fully different PCM arhitecture, running on android with hardware/processor to match.

Just dig a config comparison and there’s not much difference. It’s just the track pad difference and the fact that I typically like the newest thing…when possible. I use apple car play and Waze 99%.
The range is due to the wheels right and not the battery change. I didn’t catch wind of a bigger battery unless I missed it.

other than that it’s a waiting game for me, and I don’t feel like another 6 months!!!

NOT a forward step in my opinion........ makes it a toy.

I was pretty skeptical when I saw the trend, but I then drove a friend’s 5N and, wow, that was a whole load of fun. I still tend to agree, though.. I'm not sure if it suits the Taycan

They just missed the best feature of the late macan and cayenne ev has - Digital key! it's not part of the 2027 Taycan upgrade sadly...

Papers signed/ Delivery 6/15. (Clearly after a 3-4 month freeze date) vs. 6/17 new update release and allocation, delivery wait. Small changes visually to the PCM. Wusaaaa . At least the battery and internals aren’t a huge difference

EDIT: to answer my own question, my OPC don't have a price for it yet on their system either! looks like waiting a few weeks to find out more

It’s one of those options like the sports sound for me. I knew I wouldn’t use it after week 1 but still specced it just in case. I’m confident the e-shift would be the same. I moved to driving autos a while back

Looking like there's minimal price difference between My26 and 27 (base price for a base red is ~£200 more).

Going to go via salary sacrifice again I think.. annoyingly having to use Tusker this time and they can't seem to tell when they'll update their website with MY27 spec.. could be a few weeks to a few months they said!

anyone have any experience with Tusker.. I had a sal sac tracker running 4 year ago when I first got my 1.1.

curious to know if they go via a specific dealer for their orders?

Gone Salary Sacrifice again though company has moved from Lex to Tusker. The order is with Group 1 who own Porsche Portsmouth and Bournemouth... interested to hear people's experience with either OPC and Tusker too.

Been told it's a Q1 Late Feb delivery to me. The dealership did say on the phone that they had no more build slots for the 4S this year. My local PRG dealer (South London) said they had slots available for Nov/Dec.. so there is a difference across centres for sure.


well.. at least it won't be the 372 days I had to wait back in 2023

will just have to keep looking at this to keep me going:

I'm still a little nervous about Slate Grey Neo.. seems to look a lot lighter in brighter sunlight!

This was a surprise to see... don't think we have anything like it in the US, but maybe the 2027 configurator does... that it gives more windshield washer fluid is wild:
