I took the risk on ppf headlights. They all yellow and fail. Maybe this will extend that life.
I was aware of Porsche’s warning ahead of the install. Calculated risk.
The comments, re: lower car are very true.
It only takes a few unlucky moments behind a sand or salt truck to cause this or some other event that put sand or gravel onto the road. Two identical cars, driven similarly, could have a very different level of patina if you got stuck behind a sand or salt truck for even a short amount of...
I have definitely noticed this quote from Page 2.
“Generally, pedal travel is longer when manoeuvring at slow speeds.”
I can see how this inconsistency can catch you off guard.
My ‘22 CT’s doors annoy me. They pop open a tenth of a second before the window lowers. I feel as if they are sequenced opposite of the way it should work. The preferred sequence should be 1) window drops, 2) door pops open (sequenced in order with the shortest time delay possible). Given...
The wheel, hub, and lug bolts may have been damaged. Ask them to show you those components to verify they are free of damage. Then report this to PCNA. That’s a dangerous position they put you in.
Software bugs aside, it is important for you to know how to reboot the system on your own. Of course you shouldn't have to, but to your point, if on a long trip it is a must-know procedure.
Use two fingers and touch at the top right of the center display (near where the clock is displayed)...
Haven’t tried what you’re suggesting, but that method is exactly the procedure for using the emergency spare on a 911. If a rear tire goes flat, put the front tire on the rear and the donut spare on the front.
of course one would have to buy the spare wheel kit, but I’d imagine it would work...
I deleted one of the garage doors and it didn’t work. So then I deleted the remaining door, re-added it and it worked. This is much better than using the pop up. I can press the icon and not lose the park assist cameras. It’s still not as good as three hard buttons. Thanks for the tip.
Go online and read through the warranty from Pirelli for your specific model of tire. That’ll give you some idea of what normal wear should look like. The “it’s a sports car, they all wear like that!” Is not very helpful.
7K miles on a ‘22 CT4 and the tires (21 inch all-season conti pro-contact) look nearly new. You may have an alignment problem. I run 38-40 psi.
The tires do have a mileage warranty. I believe a staggered setup like the Taycan renders the warranty good for 50% the projected life. 5K miles is...
It’s a complicated machine. They’ll get it sorted. It takes thousands of complicated parts and systems to make it all work. Even If a $1.00 part need replacing it could take a week or so to receive the part and then more time to replace it. As for payment, over to you, it’ll be fine either way.
Did not know this. I have two doors saved, but may consider deleting one to enable this feature. I tried one of the shortcut buttons for a day, but found that it too activates the pop-up and I still had to interact with the touch screen to choose which door to activate.
