Porsche Charging Service - on Used Car

It has nothing to do with previous owners using their plan or not. Porsche changed their charging plan and got away from monthly fees. It happened beginning of april. Quite cool I think as my "Taycan"-plan ends in 6 weeks.

    My new “Stormtrooper”

@whitex I'm not worried. As you say, reversing is easy. I probably should not think further and just try.

    My new “Stormtrooper”

Thinking of getting turbonit style on the outside of my dolomite-silver CT. But hesitating to bring it out of the original status. Turbonit on some colour-schemes is just foiiiiin.

What if I don't renew Porsche Connect: what's gone and what's left?

@chun at least in Germany OTA and connection to Porsche server (ARB7) is included in the 10 yr free connection package. I will renew connect next month, as to me the UI only makes sense with all options.

"Taycan lets you drive with shorted out battery modules"

It's the VAG genererally going strange ways in software and digitilization in the past 10 years. In the 10s they obviously underestimated the topic. Then the approach was "not too happy". Probably need another 5 years to get ahead of software "issues".

Warranty denial - power steering warning light

Very sad to read this example. Getting the impression, Porsche-GB more often seems to be launching problems. So far had very positive results on guarantee-issues here in Germany.

All 4 of my handles started squeaking on lock and unlock (coming out and retracting) yesterday. Sounds like rubber rubbing against something.

Only in factory warranty time. Porsche approved won't step in on any sound complaint. It would have to stop working. Of course they would, if one pays a kazillion.

Have this issue on one handle. Appears at warmer temperatures. Was going to try silicone spray, but seems to have little success than.

Getting a Taycan after Tesla - Few questions

Reset seems not the proper expression for the driving mode. It just returns to "normal" and at the steering wheel you can quickly switch to other modes. J1.1 has the "individual" setting, where your preferences do not reset. I think J1.2 does not have individual. My Phone holder is left of the...

    New owner: software/tech questions

Not really answering the tech questions, but: I come from 9 years Tesla, Model S/ X and Y In the beginning I truely had to get used to how little the Taycan is a smartphone on wheels. After a few days, appreciating more and more what an astonishing driving machine it is, I happily fell in...
