It has nothing to do with previous owners using their plan or not.
Porsche changed their charging plan and got away from monthly fees.
It happened beginning of april.

@chun at least in Germany OTA and connection to Porsche server (ARB7) is included in the 10 yr free connection package.
I will renew connect next month, as to me the UI only makes sense with all options.

In the 10s they obviously underestimated the topic.
Then the approach was "not too happy".

Getting the impression, Porsche-GB more often seems to be launching problems.
So far had very positive results on guarantee-issues here in Germany.
Only in factory warranty time.
Porsche approved won't step in on any sound complaint.
It would have to stop working.
Of course they would, if one pays a kazillion.
Reset seems not the proper expression for the driving mode.
It just returns to "normal" and at the steering wheel you can quickly switch to other modes.
J1.1 has the "individual" setting, where your preferences do not reset.
I think J1.2 does not have individual.
