The Supra was my Top dream car before for whatever reason i could get a Cross Turismo. I would still love it when the CT goes but doubt that they are still the way it is then. Might as well imagine that the BMW Z4 Estate is a production car then haha.It may be haram to say it but I've thought about a Supra 6MT as well. people heap praise on those about as consistently as a 911. maybe a cayman would be a better compromise. idk, I need to drive them all.
Did he buy it from the dealer? If so i'd have thought he'd have a strong case to give them the keys back? Or at least a like for like loan car.my neighbor just bought a 2020 Turbo 14K miles 3 weeks ago...went to drive it last week only to find out that it was a Brick!
Long story short Porsche Dealer said they have to replace the entire Battery Pack but it will take 4 to 5 months. They also mentioned that this is not uncommon on 2020's. I have a 2020 Turbo with 30K miles...Now I'm worried
Is this a common issue? Do 2021,22, 23 have this issue?
Not that I’ve heard about. I have a 2020 4S and it’s performing perfectly.my neighbor just bought a 2020 Turbo 14K miles 3 weeks ago...went to drive it last week only to find out that it was a Brick!

Not at all.Common? No.
More common than the other model years? Yes.
Normally they do not replace the entire battery. Only modules.Congrats to your friend for getting a brand new battery under warranty.
Exactly this. Happened to me. Sucked to be without my car for 4 months (that's how long it took to acquire and replace the battery). But now I have a 2020 with a brand new battery and an extended warranty.Being without your car for five months sucks. Getting a new battery with updated chemistry on a 2020 would be amazing. I hope my battery screws up in five years!
I'd hope with that low mileage we'd have no issues. this isn't some supercar, this is a daily driver sedan. I'm at 25k miles (40k km) and have not had any battery issues, very early production 2020 as well. my worst issues so far are rattling noises and a tail light that sometimes intermittently disconnects in the heat. Not at all.
It's defenately not more common on older models.
There are more older models so it may look like that but it isn't.
I have one of the first models and I keep an eye on that especially.
Overall, it's not common.
I'm on 32.000 km an no problems whatsoever.
