But from the photograph it appears they have stuck with the ridiculous centre arm rest that is shaped bizarrely and doesn't stay open. Let's hope the phone charger is better than the present one, which is more sensitive than a virgins clitoris when it comes to positioning your phone.

anyone notice the additional features on the HVAC screen? Cannot make it out in picture, but looks like more features are added in that screen

It's been staying up at least since J1.2. Charger is also faultless in J1.2.

Yes, and judging by the description it's even more changes. It looks like a Cayenne interface; different menu design (can't be seen in any of the photos), customizable widgets on AC screen, volume control on a slider rather than two buttons.
