Blimey a 2024 model having a new heater, that is quite shockign on. J2.

Mine was done last month but is a 2022 model. Reading all the threads on heater replacements, the company must be losing money hand over fist on this issue. Must be huge for them ?

When mine was replaced, they said the servo gave up which caused the directional airflow flaps to remain closed, and the replacement parts were £800 and £4K labour (dash out job)

It depends on the contract with the supplier. You can be certain that the parts themselves are being replaced free of charge by Webasto.
Whether their contract also includes labor reimbursement, nobody can really say. If it does, then again it's Webasto on the hook for all of that, if it doesn't then yes, they are losing money on it.

So are webasto the heater Matrix supplier ?

Mine was replaced last weeek, apparently the servo motors. Just had a written confirmation from Porsche that I can book it in for warranty repair under recall notice

Yes the entire heating system is made by them from what I know.
The climate control and it's servos aren't though.

My servos are ok I can blow cold air anywhere I want to.... HV unit I suspect. Mr Webasto. I shall ask for a date of manufacture of the unit and its replacement

Good news!!!! So my heater stopped working last week monday and my taycan is out of porsche warranty but covered under AA warranty. Anyways I contacted porsche just to ask and they confirmed my heater is covered under the recall warranty which was replaced april 2024. Dropped it of to my local centre porsche west london on monday and the car was fixed and collected today. 2 days turn around. Faith in porsche restored. I hope anyone else in the same boat as me gets as lucky as I did.
