Just sent my 2022 4S to the shop. At 80% SOC I used to get around 230 miles of range. In the last 6 weeks it has steadily dropped off to 160 miles. Has anyone else seen this happen? The car is 13 months old and has 11600 miles driven and has the PB+. Car was dropped off at the dealer last Wednesday and so far no response

Any recent road-tripping? That can cause a non-permanent hit to the guess-o-meter that improves over time.

Data on battery state of health is being compiled from owners by @ciaranob in this thread.
Note the SoH data for hot climates, like AZ (orange dots on first chart).

No recent road trips (last was May 31st Phoenix to Flagstaff AZ). SOC started to fall off around mid August. At 80% I saw 201 mi, then 190 mi, 180, 175, 169, 161,159 and the last is the picture above taken Wednesday morning…

Thank you! I will show this to my service adviser…

Well, it seems like you’re within the warranty range for replacement

It maybe that your batteries needs to be balanced, have done this on our two EV’s over the last 3 years.

Run your batteries down to single figure %,, leave overnight, then charge to 100% and drive ASAP afterwards for a reasonable varied speeds for a short time.

Then charge/use as normal.

It’s worked for both our Tesla and Renault, after doing this we noticed better SoC and range indications, not sure if this works on the Taycan (but will do soon?).

Has the weather changed where you are recently too? As we come in to winter the forums will be full of people moaning about their reduced range, it tends to be seasonal

Being honest, 230miles for 80% is very unrealistic. I am driving a Taycan 4s Cross Turismo. Being 80% charge I have arranged of about 180 miles. What do you need to take in consideration is also, maybe the weather conditions getting a little bit colder. Therefore, maybe you see a decrease in range.

I would agree with Sandro above but with only limited experience. My turbo is showing a range of 240miles with 100% charge but it was in the service centre for 4 days last week and they lent me a Taycan 4s CT demonstrator (2,000 miles). Drove it on a 170 mile trip and it showed me a range of 210 miles at 100% before and after the run. That would put it at 170mile range at 80%. The 4s had 21 inch wheels and low profile tyres but the range seemed very poor compared to my 2022 turbo (7,000 miles). Weather was 15-20°C for both those range figures.

Actually still in the high 90’s (36C) here in Arizona… but only saw a minor reduction last winter (approximately) 20 mi on 80% charge.
