Be careful with the piwis micro-usb connection, mine separated from the main-board fairly quick.
Don't use that thing in WIFI mode, if it loses connection while it's writing data to your car, you're screwed.
If I were to buy one again, I'd tape the usb cable to the piwis so it can't put strain on the connection.
I learned it's a common "fault", poor/cheap design error.

I managed to code rear DRL and 3D surround view - I’ll be reverting the 3D view as you lose the wheel view.

When I was trying to code, I got some errors about Piwis cannot go online but going back loaded the the control module parameters.

Is it possible to code into actions into the bottom part of the climate control screen?

Volume up and down is useless. Would love to replace that with sports sound toggle or music forward and Back.

IDK, but I would not mess with that area. Lots of secret features. You can scribble words, you can swipe through menus, you can press, you can long press, you can adjust volume, etc. Many gestures for many features.

I've been tackling with some issues the past few weeks. Hopefully, I can some ideas from the braintrust of where to begin....

In trying to turn my side markers back on (had them off but have had them working with turn signals)
Steps:
BCM1-->kodierwert: sidemarker_via_lcm—>active (this did not work)
So I started messing around and this fault came up. The signals in the side mirrors don't come on either.

Second issue. My Porsche connect services all of a sudden stopped working. It has been working for the past year or so, even with coding that was done prior. My car still thinks it's German for some reason, even though the Type test country is set to USA.

After enabling matrix headlight functionality, I also tried to get the front sidemarker lights on (no luck so far).

This results in no constant sidemarker lights (only works as turn indicators) but should resolve those fault codes:

sidemarker_config: not_installed

@whitex or others, have you been able to get a working configuration of matrix LED + US/SAE behavior of sidemarker lights?

I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time. It doesn't seem like there's an easy way around it, unless you dig into the BCM1 dataset, as the EU dataset doesn't have side markers/parking lights. The bitfields won't be exposed in coding without rules, because they simply don't exist, or well function that way. By making any bitfields related to side marker or parking light, all we're doing is telling BCM1 to expect these lights, but then the BCM1 won't actually know how to keep it on as a parking light---so the errors.....

You might have lost your signals in the side mirrors too--I believe it's only an NAR thing. I've been trying to figure out how to re-enable those as well.

Unfortunately no. I didn’t spend a lot of time in this, but I do remember trying the usual known codings (the ones people use to turn off the markers in US configuration) and they did not enable my markers, so I left them as signals only.

what are the signals in the side mirrors- LCA LED lights? I will look closely if that is the case.
