so , notwithstanding how hit/miss it appears to be to use, when I open the driver door after the car has been turned off, the seat moves (wheel doesn't seem to though) back a little.

is there a way of calibrating it so that the seat moves back further and raises a bit higher? that would vastly help me get out of the car rather than just going back about 3cm.

I'm going to assume given how crap Porsches software seems to be, that's it's a no. but I hope I'm pleasantly surprised

I don't think so, but would be keen to know!

I believe the wheel just goes back. It would be much better if it went up as well. And for me the seat did the opposite to give as much space to exit as possible.

so if your seat goes back miles and mine not much at all, then that kinda hopefully points to it must be adjustable somehow!

A workaround ….. if you tend to be the only driver …. Is to set two positions in the seat memory, one for driving and one for access, egress…… not ideal I agree…….

Active ride raises the whole car another few inches whenever a door is opened. Makes a nice difference in being able to get in and out.

1. I would save a seat position for the exit. (like CaliPorsche)
2. Deactivate the automatic seat adjustment or do NOT press the start button.
3. Open the door, the car drives up but the seat remains in position.

I'm not entirely sure what this means?
drivers are me and my wife with seperate keys and (it will be when I get around to creating an account for her etc) her own seat settings.

does the way that you and caliporsche suggest work with that setup? would it also mean that I'd need to push the memory button before exiting ?

I only drive it myself.
You could save the position to 3 and would have to press 3 before exiting.
But then don't use the start button to switch off, just open the door.

Try it out...

If the wife has her own key, you have to release the 2nd user beforehand (online).
