For the second time in 18 months, the right hand port-cover has jammed in the open position. Apart from the two permanent jams, the cover has also played silly buggers before, but sorted itself out after a day or two.
I can still charge the car at home, or away on a/c, but the left hand d/c port will not function - because the right-hand one is permanently open ! This means that I can’t really go on any lengthy trips and use a rapid charger.
Apart from a few relatively more relatively minor bugs, the car has been a pleasure to own, but I’m now seriously irritated that I’m hamstrung by a small but significant fault for the second time.
Most of the advice I have seen relates to ports being jammed shut, not open.
If anyone has any advice, apart from a 120 mile round trip to the dealer, please let me know.
