Charger Recall Disappeared!

I've had the charger recall show up on Porsche's recall site for several months now. I haven't gotten it taken care of because I don't use their charger, and nobody seems to have the parts.

Today when checking recalls I noticed...it's gone! Only the brake hose recall is displayed.

Did they just give up on it? I'd like to get that resolved as a safety issue for the next owner, should they decide to use Porsche's unit...

Disappeared from my account too a couple of days ago. I assumed it was because Porsche had reimbursed me for an alternate EVSE and the reimbursement covered their butts for the recall. They required a signature on delivery of the check for a reason.

Maybe having nothing to do with anything but the brake hose recall no longer shows up on the "home" page. It's there if you do a search for open recalls through the service page, but at least on my account finding open recalls takes a little digging.

I never cashed that in, as I bought an EVSE on my previous Taycan.

I noticed it too. I got a voucher from them, didn’t have to sign anything. I don’t use their charger but was last month my SA said they would let me know when the part was available. I will ask in August when I am there.

Mine disappeared as well. I just figured since I got the new part and charger reimbursement it took it off. Guess that wasn’t the case

I just got mine out of service this morning and my SA mentioned the charger and brake recalls were still open due to lack of parts.

I just bought the charger replacement and submitted for reimbursement, will be interesting to see if that is impacted or not.

As a side note, it's kinda crazy that they gave up and said "here's $600 you can use to buy a charger" and the most likely source is a competitor...

I opted for service credit back in early june. Got an auto reply that i should be emailed a voucher in 7 days, i still haven't gotten anything yet

Porsche's EVSE is just fine - there never was any recall - there is no problems - it never happened.

Takes for ever… I had to nag them a bit too. It will eventually show up, maybe 8 weeks?

I checked my email, i sent it out 6/7, so its right about weeks, I'll wait 2 more weeks so see whats up......Thanks for the info

I turned all my stuff in for the reimbursement months ago. Is everyone else getting paid already?

I got paid for one but not the other - two recalls - one for my Taycan and one for Cayenne TurboS eHybrid…

I think when I checked the receipt from the printed check it was the vin for the Taycan - so they lost/ignored my Cayenne paperwork…

I had the WPS9 and APB6 recalls completed this past week. They inspected the brake lines (ARB0), but did not have spares yet. Pictures of the new cable
