Climate Sync

Anyone else find that after the latest software update, that when you press sync for temp it remains as two displays - better in my opion and mirrors Macan - rather than merging to present only 1 temperature and fan control?
Think it must have happened during/after the control modules update WVW1? Can't remember the number....

Or, is it just me...........

Thanks for the reply. Don't use Sync very often so wondered if I hadn't pressed the screen properly.

I'm with you. A far better arrangement. Passenger presses their temp and the split returns. Excellent.

I wonder what else has changed?

I wish Porsche (who are not alone in this) would publish upgrade lists. Apple and almost everyone else is culpable. I don't have the time to 'play' with every setting to see what has changed - despite my brain wanting to know. Just like iOs upgrades.

Just nipped out to collect some stuff and................
I'll be hornswaggled (as our transatlantic cousins may say) the pesky thing has reverted to a sashay into a single temperature and fan icon.......................

Definitely did not do that an hour ago. The 'hamburger' icon below sync which reduces the shortcuts above the climate controls had also 'disappeared' but has now returned.

Mine seems to randomly stay either as two or go to one.
It seems to be maybe linked to whether I have used preheat from the App or not and what the settings were. I have no definitive experiment to show why, so not completely sure. It has done this from new.

Ah, a possibility there. I have been using pre heat for the last two or three journeys......... a possible (illogical) explanation

To me it seems like its "hanging" it is synced with both sides showing. Pressing "sync" doesnt change anything unless I physically adjust a difference., then when pressing sync it shows only one adjustment. Next time I start it may stay in single or dual mode but this seems random. Haven't really investigated in depth, the auto works so well that apart from the occasional de-mist I rarely touch it

Mine is the earlier Taycan so I didn’t get a software update. I have always had an intermittent bug where the Sync button basically does nothing. I usually find that both sides of the car are set to the same temperature. After moving one side slightly +/- 1 degree, the Sync button works again and combines the two controls into one.

Mine hasn't reverted to a single sync version since the day I got the car. I pressed to separate them on the drive home and it never went back to one
