Anyone compared Etron GT facelift with J1.2? Especially on road handling w/ Active Ride?

Having driven both and many variants of that new Taycan, the Audi is closer to the Taycan now.

The Audis suspension and steering are much closer to Taycan, but Taycan still gets the edge.

RS E-Tron GT performance gets the Performance mode which lowers the car to the lowest suspension setting. It's like Sport Plus mode. this is a huge benefit over the non Performance E-Tron GTs.

I love the CF roof in the Audi and if you like options, Audi is a better value.

I would still get a Performance over a Turbo S.

There are more discounts on E-Tron GTs and dealers are easy to work with.

Porsche gives you a luxury experience. It's special, but you pay a premium for it.

There is a difference, not just one.

In Europe, another car is more likely to swerve out of the way when a Porsche appears in the rear-view mirror. That doesn't happen with an Audi.

Apart from that, the feeling in a Taycan is much more valuable than in an Audi. It was worth it to me. But everyone has to decide for themselves.

Definitely Audi gets no respect compared to Porsche.

out of spec Kyle's review of the E-Tron GT is pretty good. He noted poorer Active Ride tuning and he hated the steering wheel. He talks a lot about the difference between the two cars.

RS is at the Turbo S level and S is at the GTS level (of power). E Tron's options packaging is simpler than Taycan's where it's a-la-carte for almost everything, for example there's only one large package on the RS to get CCBs.

In Germany Audidrivers have to deal with the "salesman-image", Porsche still has the "boss-image".

I agree with Kyle about the push to boost function, just derate if I'm pushing too hard.
Disagree about the two speed gearbox, I love hearing the downshift with sport sound.
No discussion about the most important thing, the sound system.
Audi USA site only lists it as B&O, no watt rating or number of speakers.

B/O sits better Bose and Burmester
My wife had first gen etron with B/O. Best factory stereo option I have had (Burmester, HK, Bose, Meridian (very close second)). Bose seems vehicle dependent. However, my Bronco has B/O and it sucks. Completely different level of equipment/engineering
