I was wondering if I could use this technique to (instead of lowering) extent the lift of my sedan GTS (preferable only in lift mode)? I also made a separate topic about this issue, but perhaps the expertise is in here.

Has anyone tried lowering with coding of the suspension height?

Could you share how you coded it? What/where to code with what please? Thank you in advance.
you do the normal adjustment in PIWIS and modify the measured values with how much you want to raise/lower it. you need a level surface.

Thanks very much! I went for the Custom A and its perfect 👌 Just a thought - shouldnt a new wheel alignment be made? How has your tyrewear been those that did this a long time ago?

I did have the local Porsche shop look at alignment. They said there was nothing to be done on these cars really.
I did have the inner edge of all tires wear out after 8k miles, but I also did autocross with the car so hard to say where the wear came from.

You can very much adjust the alignment a little to set the camber more neutral in lower position.
No problem on our hawkeye elite bench. The Porsche dealer here is using the same one.

But of course this requires a brain and understanding of suspension geometry, not just "turn bolt until reading go green" style of adjustment.

Thanks for your input! Would you say its worth the hassle? I gather there will be slightly more negative camber in the lowest setting compared to stock?

I think it is unless you like going through tyres very fast.

@enginerdify you are the man! Followed your lead.. those tiny clip pins are a pain. Would be nice if we could find a solution w/out the clip pin.. but I doubt it would be safe.. could pop off maybe.

Did you ever remove your links for service? I doubt they care unless a suspension item comes up that needs repairing.. maybe they notate the lowering link for future reference?

Regardless.. looks great. Much appreciated :)

@Seattle996 Great you were able to take advantage! I never took them off for service. They aren’t a suspension part IMHO since they only trigger the sensor. Car looks great!

Im new to this site but was wondering if anyone has maybe wanted a little bit more lowness lets say and trimmed the bump stops down to achieve that and not get the annoying noise of the car hitting them

I've modified every car I've owned.. suspension always first. On the Taycan, I personally wouldn't go any further than @enginerdify and his Sedan+ height. Its pretty dang low.. it rides like a lowered car but very comfortable for me. Any lower and I'd be afraid of the car bottoming out on hwy speeds with dips.. I've read that on this forum somewhere. Best of luck..

Yeah im just thinking id like to get that tyre abit closer to the arch get rid of that arch gap abit more and lets face it bumps and stuff you can just lift the car thats the perks of air ride
