December 2022 Deliveries

Taycan GTS Sedan, US West Coast (San Francisco) order, so heading to Benicia, CA USA:

Froze and un-froze three times with various dates
Actual "start production" was 7 November 2022
Actual "production completed" was 11 November 2022
Actual "ready for transport" was 11 November 2022
Actual "in transit to Emdem port" was 14 November 2022
Actual "arrival Emdem port" was 15 November 2022
Estimated "on vessel" is 18 November 2022
Estimated "entry port" (Benicia) is 16 December 2022

Like the estimated dates for the earlier steps, the last two estimates above seem like nonsense. The best I can deduce, there is a ship departing for Beniciaon 24 November, six days after the above estimated date - the Glovis Clipper. The Glovis Clipper arrives at Benicia on 26 December, ten days after the above estimate. Or, like others, will the car end up on some entirely different ship in early 2023 instead of late 2022.

And on 20 November, TYD changed, and while it still says my car will be on the Glovis Clipper, the "on vessel" is now estimated to be 2 December 2022 (another fake Friday date?) instead of 18 November 2022. 2 December is later than the Glovis Clipper schedule that I saw, so my Tacan literally "missed the boat" on a 2022 delivery.

Maybe, but there is no boat on December 2nd or anywhere near it. I don’t think the “on vessel” dates are based on anything real.

When did your car reach emden? Edit: nvm I see your dates. Honestly you may not make the Clipper. I missed the previous SD bound boat and my car had been at port 2 weeks in advance. Now it’s been waiting for more than a month. Build completed late august and spent 2 months waiting for a 12v battery too.

TYD did the same for me over the weekend. The "On Vessel" date is now 12/02 and delivery date is 01/06 to San Diego. Mine has been at the Emden port since 9/26.

Having initially slipped by a week, then a further two weeks, my CT 4S came forward a week with vehicle complete date of 18th November. PRG cannot see any actions outstanding but cannot guarantee that until it shows as being in the UK as some campaigns do not show up until vehicles are in the UK. Fingers crossed

I see a lot of 12/2 (Dec 2nd, for clarity) port arrival dates being reported across vastly different locales. It's either going to be a killer day for Porsche, or it's a default calculated based on a still-2022 final delivery date.

• Glovis Stella is now due in Benicia on Dec 2 instead of the previous date of Dec 4.
• Glovis Clipper is leaving Emden on Nov 24 and is due in Benicia on Dec 28, 2 days later than the previous schedule - no chance for 2022 delivery.
• New vessel leaving Emden on Dec 22 and is due in Benicia on Jan 27

Week 47 schedule is out for the US West Coast.

• Glovis Stella - Dec 2 for Benicia
• Glovis Clipper - Nov 24 for Emden, Dec 25 for SD, Dec 28 for Benicia
• Glovis Courage (new) - Dec 10 for Emden, Jan 9 for SD, Jan 12 for Benicia
• Glovis Splendor (new) - Dec 22 for Emden, Jan 26 for SD, Jan 29 for Benicia

My dealer just called to say the Siem Cicero has arrive in Davisville Rhode Island with my CT 4S on it and said the car will likely be ready for delivery next week. That actually makes it a November deliver a couple of weeks ahead of time.

My car was ordered 6/2/2022 and was complete except for battery on 9/08/22.
It kept changing dates and finally made it to Emden a week or so ago and showed a ship date of 12/02. Tonight it popped up that it is on the Confucious and 800 miles away, supposed to go through Baltimore. This is some crazy stuff and can’t believe it. Just wanted to share for those waiting for Baltimore delivery.

Glovis Clipper is moored at Emden. I’m hoping my car gets a ride on this one (San Diego bound). Been sitting at Emden since Oct. 18, and finished production sans battery end of August. If I get skipped for this boat I’ll be pissed

Really hoping im on the clipper too. From past experience its usually at the destination port 3-4 days earlier coming to the west coast. Lets see.
