I have been waiting 20 months for my Taycan. In the Porsche App I got notified on 20th May that was build was complete and 3 weeks ago, the App updated to say the car was been transported. My local dealer has just said there is no news and yesterday the car disappeared from the App and isnt even showing. Has anyone had similar experiences??? Frustrated s not the word!

Tell your dealer to pick their phone up and actually ask someone in the supply chain, preparation centre etc, rather than look on their computer.

Is your dealer part of the porsche retail group?

20 months is a long time to wait – especially if you haven't been given a specific and realistic delivery date. You will totally forget it when you get the car! But right now, can understand the frustration.

Hi Darren. I got my CT4S from Exeter at end of March after 15 months. They tell me that deliveries this year will be much quicker. It does not help you much but it sounds like you wont have to wait much longer.

Is your car back in the app? Or is it still not showing anything?

It’s very frustrating. My 16 month saga is about to come to an end - with a car. But I’ve felt like throwing the towel in a few times. Hope some magic happens your end.

I have now been told there is some quality campaign being done on cars at the port and it now won't be until September, one month short of 2 years. Disaster.

Not that it helps your situation, but you asked if anyone has had "similar experiences". Well, I just got new of this today after over a year and original June 2023 expected delivery. I think your characterization of 'disaster' also applies here.

"It looks like your car was damaged beyond repair during production and Porsche now needs to start over.

The are price protecting you on your build and you will be getting a 2024 model. So sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I don’t know exactly what happens but it is not something that can move forward due to the damage."

I asked if I can now get PTS thrown in for free on the re-build.:p
