Maybe I missed it in the thread and I'm not a software engineer. Could it be possible that the timing of this app outage relates to the rollout of new updates to the PCM? Server overload anyone?

As far as I've understood there was an unexpected outage of their remote server.
Their internet server still worked.
Their crisis team was on it and fixed it as of now.
Here it already is working again.

Here it already is working again.
I even think that all servers haven;t been down.
It looks that they are on several locations since old app works all the time.
(and yes, i was able to climate parked car as well).
about two hours, I checked new app, and it started to work too….

All functions? You can lock/unlock the car and turn on the AC from the website?
Yes, I can lock/unlock, pre-cool, change timers and also check status of the vehicle. I’m located in the US, if that matters.

I just checked and the My Porsche app is working again.

That’s weird I am in the US too but there’s no place for me to control the vehicle on the website. Not sure if being a 2022 makes the difference.

I might apply for head of IT at Porsche Apps division.......

I have got my own screwdriver, hammer and Gaffer Tape already, so I should be shortlisted at the very least.

I should also add that I passed my 50 yards Backstroke at Junior school on my 4th attempt and got a Knot tieing badge at Cubs.

Very little IT experience, but I don't see that being much of an issue ?

Will not connect yet the car can be accessed by using my.porsche.com

Flaky app of internal issue at Porsche
After driving Teslas for 10 years I can tell you that the Taycan software is a total mess. It is very user unfriendly with too many choices and no priority given to more frequently used selections. There is a total lack of any visible efforts to improve this. Perhaps the management changes noted in the link attached will help this.
