There are many 3-party Electric Frunk for Tesla, but did anyone know where we can find the component for Taycan?

I don't know of any car that has an electric frunk that you can open fully automatically. I would suspect this is a safety measure, ensuring you have to physically unlatch it.

Vehicle safety regulations vary enormously from country to country.

I am sure this would be illegal here since the potential for a catastrophe is horrifying.

Safety rules aren’t very consistent though. Pedestrian safety regulations for cars are strict but don’t apply to commercial vehicles

Interesting. As it's 3rd party, I wonder if gets around safety laws? As @f1eng says, this likely illegal in many countries, and almost certainly illegal across Europe.

Doesn't make it legal.

Would I like that on my Taycan? sure but it's more novel than useful. The comfort of knowing an unexcepted release is near impossible outweighs the brief joy of opening it via push button.

The teslas (at least the model 3 and Y) don't have a safety latch like the Taycan. I suspect that is why it's much easier to retrofit on those as you don't have to alter the locking mechanism - Just add a device that can lift it after it's released.

That would make them illegal in the UK, I believe, so the spec may well be market dependant.

I thought the same was the case here (I'm in Denmark but my wifes TM3 is from Germany). But I just tested and it opens right up after you release it from the app. My Taycan and every other car I've had have a safety latch you need to move before it opens.

How about a sensor that prevents any opening unless the car is literally stationary?
