Hi I own a 2022 Cross Turismo in Neptune Blue and about to order a new one.
Curious to get opinions about colors. My wife wants me to get black but worried that looks like a fast hearse. What about silver? Definitely don’t want white or chalk.

If you want to be unique, go PTS. Otherwise the rest of the colors don’t make that much difference.

Colors are subjective. Also Porsche metallic and shades are unique, you must go into the design office at the dealership to have an in-person view and even the color swatch is misleading.

That said, IMO, black is boring, and it doesn't show off the fine details of the body's contour. My favorite non-PTS colors are:

Carmine Red
Purple Sky
Shade Green
Gentian Blue
Pale Blue
Oak Green
Ice Grey

If I were to custom configure the car today, I was very likely do purple sky.

Chalk seems to be very common since 2016, plus it's non-metallic. Ice Grey is actually a shade of white, but looks grey in low light, one of my favorite colors at the moment.

I think the Taycan looks best when the body colour contrasts with other prominent elements- so dark accents (including wheels) for lighter colours and vice versa. The pano roof is such a prominent dark element that I feel that Gentian Blue is as dark a shade that complements it, and that, with or without pano roof, the very dark body colours need very bright wheels (not necessarily silver).

Black cars look great when clean.

My cars are rarely clean.

I'd avoid it like the plague.

A bit of colour is nice...my kids wish I'd gone for a bright colour, but I'd wanted a Cherry like colour for a long time and love it. Carmine, Neptune or a brighter PTS would be next choices for me.

I have volcano grey and thinks it looks great and way better than black. It sparkles when clean and doesn’t look too bad when dirty. I also think dark colours look better on the CT. I regularly see a GTS sport tourismo in ice grey and think it looks meh.

Totally agree. Gentian blue outside, tarty red inside worked for me

I have a J.1 II (Taycan “facelift”) in Porsche’s Dolomite Silver Metallic and I really like it.

Not sure where you live. Black is a great color if you have great weather most of the year (minimal rain that usually causes spotting between washes) and you garage your car and use a california duster. Otherwise white is a safe color and looks great with black wheels and colored calipers. Low maintenance and always looks clean.

Don't know how it is in your country but here most people choose monochrome paintwork, coloured cars are unusual but I would always prefer a colour and Porsche have quite a few nice ones.
Mine is Mamba green which they don't do any more but I like Gentian blue, Purple sky, and the frosted blue and berry.

Chalk hides the dirt the most… as opposed to my last black car, which as dirty 10 seconds after washing it.

Here’s my dirty chalk/crayon car:

I have white, on a CT4. I would agree that black wheels look great with contrasting colours. I have the Turbo aero style wheels which have diamond cut with a gloss black background, along with gloss black inserts on the trim/windows etc. I like the combination on my car, I still glance back every time I walk away...!

I also like the fact that there are very varied views here on what everyone likes. That's the beauty of personal choice..! Each to their own. I think the Taycan suits lots of different colours. ?

Thanks to all for the suggestions and pictures. It's been a big help and fun to see the colors people have chosen.

I've narrowed it down to Gentian Blue or Volcano Grey. Probably going to with Gentian Blue and black/red interior.
