Ok. Sounds like you have some first hand experience with the VLC Roof. I am aware of the segments and what it claims to do. Am I right in my understanding that it is Milky white when 1.) in Park/ or the car is off, (Prob for privacy protection and direct sun exposure). Secondly when you option it to be in the translucent setting.

The seatbelts, I can update to chalk. It does look good in the 360 simulation.
Since i do not have VLC and we do have some fans of it, I would let them chime in on the operation and how the segments behave. All I know that this is the first time Porsche offered it with the Taycan and they are not very good at it vs. say a Mercedes who have had it for years and are really good at this tech.

Glad to know you went for Chalk Belts. They look really premium and are meant to go together with Black/Chalk interior, unless you have been feared into believing they are hard to clean.

Steel Brake Rotors. This may be the worst case, but I can tell you, that your daily clean routine that lasts 5 seconds will not scrape that off, and since you telling me that you will be charging outside, good luck with that.

Or you can look at mine, that are always clean and a true mirror like with my other car wheel in them visible undistorted. The line is normal.

Perfect info on the wheels. Im now locked in the RS spiders for good! The other items I think I already responded to some of them, I will look at the carbon fiber. And aren't the seatbelts supposed to be a break in the color pattern, for some contrast?
The configurator only looks somewhat like the real thing. Here is a bad pic of my interior with black seatbelts (it's black and beige leather, not chalk, but is pretty close)... the black seatbelt is fine:

The only time I see this is after a wash. Literally drive off my driveway and it’s gone. PSCB look nice tho.

Also, understand the car uses physical brakes every single time you come to a stop, on or below 5mph.

I have the VLC Pano. It does cloud up when you set it that way and when the car is off. It remembers your last setting and will revert.

It's winter so I keep it clear all the time now (when driving) and don't even think about it.

Self clean works may be for about 5 seconds and 2 brake presses - not enough to keep rust off.
Disagree, here are mine in the worst conditions possible - winter with tons of salt on the road, note how many salt deposits there are on the rims:

IDK where you pulled those photos from, the car has to be sitting for months for that. The steel brakes do not look like that in normal usage!

Longevity is lifetime of the car.
Hell no.

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/pscb-brakes.11169/page-9#post-163765 - this is not fixed even in 2026, no matter PSCB or PCCB.
And there are many many more issues.

Also, the steel brakes and pads last almost forever on a Taycan (and are super cheap to replace), because it basically never uses them in the first place.

Would never recommend choosing PSCB or PCCB on Taycan, they have inferior performance in day to day driving, are simply not needed and are very expensive should they go wrong.

Agreed. That confirms my not getting them.

Very envious of your spec. Personally RS Spyders. White dial looks fine with chalk and to be hoest very hard to differentiate from 'true' chalk IMHO. Personally prefer 18 way seats and seat ventilation. Have you seen the Volcano grey in the metal? It is a very dark grey...

Re the Sports Design visible carbon fiber exterior package, I included it in my initial configurations. However I decided against it for a few reasons — the first two interrelated. First, its price is $4,120; second, I can get four pieces of STEK’s visable carbon fiber PPF and get my detailer to cover over all four gloss black, front-and-rear aero inlay piece for a total of under $1,000 (maybe 2/3’s that). Lastly, like the look of the gloss black side skirt inlays with their GTS logo, and my configuration’s mirror caps already will provide a touch of carbon fiber to the sides.

Another vote for the Spyders. I love your spec! It will be an amazing car. I built a very similar car (but on a '26 4S Black Ed. vs a GTS) and didn't compromise on most of the options you selected as well. I think you will love the active ride, variable control roof and burmester. It's another level of enjoyment. I realize there are some thumbs down opinions on the VCR but it was important to me to have. If you want, DM me and I can send you some pics of what it looks like on a full sun day inside the car with clear and matte.

I also went with the spyders in satin black and absolutely love them. They're beautiful wheels and IMO suit the car so well. I only wish they were easier to keep clean (which is something I obsess over constantly).

I actually live in ATL but didn't take the experience delivery for the same reasons you noted - mainly I wanted the car PPFed before I drove it. Also, I don't think you get to drive your actual car. But I am going next week to drive the GTS on the track! Last year they had turbos you could drive and regret not doing that (they don't have an ETA on when they'll have those back if ever).

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your car. It's a masterpiece.

Valid point there. It was one of the last options I added. I too have experience adding aftermarket carbon bits to the car. Small things on the interior of the car ( ie cup holder, door panel parts, there’s a lot on EBay) just to add to the CF look and protect interior surfaces. For the exterior the part was 4k and I was like damn, I could go your route. I looked up some aftermarket parts and I saw some for a few thousand but it was getting to close to what I could just add to the financing part, to buy then have them properly installed. I will however to the opposite of you and add the side mirrors aftermarket vs. configure. Those were $200 aftermarket and I can have the option to remove if I don’t like the look while being easy to do myself. Sucks to lose the little GTS logo. But maybe I can add that back as it was soo small

.

I think this is it. I’m nearing the end. I’m researching Emporia vs. Tesla charging now. (Leaning toward Emporia based on members and You tube). Besides that I’ve saved some aftermarket interior carbon fiber bits as small add on’s for future purchase.

Let me know

Looks solid.
Glad you got your colors matched up for Belts/Clock.
You still want to pay for the Weather mats.
Keep us posted when you get it, so we can get you aftermarket puddle lights.
Replacing side markers with Euro clear is the other must do mod.

Sure did. Appreciate the feedback on the small chalk misses.
Yea. I kind of don’t even want to ask for more from them; along with subtracting dealer fees and other small nuances. I’ll wrap that up in the discounted price im happy they did yes to vs. other dealers. I’m going to probably miss out on that face to face, throw in this and that goodies, had I been there to pick it up. I’m getting it delivered.

Definitely saw some nice aftermarket puddle lights. The GTS trim appears to have blacked out side markers in the picture. I can’t quite tell, but they don’t look orange. Correct me if I’m wrong or I’ll aftermarket them.

I’m lastly thinking of ways to maybe cover the night vision assist. Reading old post about rock chips and damage. It’s probably a small percentage but interesting read on this forum nonetheless the less. I’m thinking a mesh grill or something, who knows. These are more one off topics but things I think about with too much waiting time on my hands
