Front plate mounting options

I know this has likely been discussed several times, but has anyone found a solution that they love? I've been looking into getting a tow hook mount but many claim they have issues with the front sensor(s). I don't want the plate sticking up 6" above the body to avoid the sensors either LOL. I'm absolutely not drilling into my front bumper.

Tow hook mounts should not interfere with the sensor, unless you're it's a longer euro plate. But IMO, it looks terrible off centered.

I've seen people customize the license plate number and style as a vinyl sticker, which allows you to place it in the center and contoured to the bumper.

I tried a tow hook mount but sensor issues drove me crazy..gave up and mounted on center of the bumper..looks fine IMHO

Mounted it (it's off center, to the right of the front bumper) and then took it off and put it in the frunk. If we park somewhere downtown, it's easy enough to just attach on the fly. Otherwise, the "oops, we removed it to wash the car and forgot to put it back on...it's right here..." excuse/explanation is ready.

+1 to this. I did the same with the plans to leave it off, but actually like it as is. I do like the option to take it off if and as needed and much prefer it to the tow hook mounted versions I've used on previous Cayenne models.

I also used the stonsho mount and I'm quite happy with it, I just leave the plate mounted and take it off to wash or show the car.

Same for me. I hated the idea of having to put a front plate on but once I installed the sto n sho, I have left it on because I have actually evolved to liking it as well as reducing the risk of getting pulled over for nonsense.

Same for me. I hated the idea of having to put a front plate on but once I installed the sto n sho, I have left it on because I have actually evolved to liking it as well as reducing the risk of getting pulled over for nonsense.

I've had numerous vehicles over the years without putting a front plate on... without issue anywhere I had went. The particular area I live in now has gotten a new police chief a couple of years ago. Luck would have it that he is a stickler on the no front plate, and he has actually stopped me twice already in another car. It would be different if it wasn't directly where I live.

For some people, getting pulled over for something like this includes risks that are disproportionate to the specific violation. Therefore, I have elected to keep the plate on….it helps that the looks are now preferred IMO.

Got pulled over and ticket for $110 after 2+ year without front plate finally. Ordering from rho-plate seems they are the only one ships from Canada. Will update how it looks.

There were forum threads on a 3D printed part. It looked to me to be the cleanest solution. Partially because it didn't involve any real drilling and also because it was centered (I prefer the symmetry)
