Max daily air temperatures in parts of Texas last month were over 95 F/35 C and in some areas over 100 F/38 C for a couple weeks. How does Taycan handle those conditions? What I can say is that whatever and however the SoH value is determined (and again, despite all the chat here no one here actually knows how this is done and all comments are entirely speculative) it is clear that the outputs in respect for example behaviour of SoH in different climate zones would appear to match exactly that as reported from industry and Porches's own comments in respect very hot climates seeing worse degradation.
The latter point is actually one of the primary reasons I started tracking this OBDII data at all as clearly I am squarely in a Hot Climate zone so of def interest (zones as defined in the baseline thread).
For example:
At outside temperatures over 95 F/35 C, what is the typical battery temperature? Does the battery temperature get reduced below ambient by cooling system?
Are cabin temperatures comfortable with glass roof?
Insulated glass needed?
Any other adverse behavior in hot climates?
Max temps here have been about 85 F/29 C. I haven't noticed any problems.
