Any further news re the TPMS sensors and potential alternative part numbers?

There is an Audi part, but its missing the A designator from the PN, this has been mentioned on the Macan forum.

Sorry to bump this thread again. I plan to swap to my 19"s in Nov, and stick on some winter tyres.

Im still keeping an eye out for J1.2 TPMS. Eurospares are offering Lamborghini sensors, (with the same part number), significantly cheaper than Porsche.

I have 3 sets of tires for my 2023 Taycan, all I do is swap the tires, change the tire size/type in the PCM, then drive it for a bit. I did notice that the very first time the car saw the new wheels/TPMS it took longer to recognize (20 minutes of driving maybe), but wheels it has seen in the past are recognized very fast (1-2 minutes). I have never seen an error though.
Oh man this was super helpful, I just picked up Turbo wheels for my CT and it didn’t register so I started to get nervous after a short drive to the market. Decided to go for a longer drive and 10 minutes in they sync’d just fine. 🤣

Any news?
I have a pair universal 433MHz. In J1.1 they work perfect.
Are the my 25 433 MHz or 315 MHz?
And I wonder or a update of the firmware of the TPMS module is enouhg…

I just ordered original ones from teile.com, bit more than 300€ shipped to Finland

I have a MY25 4 CT.

I just put new wheels with TPMSdirect TPMS coded for part number : PAB-907-275
https://porsche.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/porsche-sensor-pab907275

It didn't work, but I think that is because I was hauling my original wheels in the car while I was relearning the new TPMS.

Now the console shows a TPMS Service Required message and wouldn't relearn any TPMS even if I deselect/reselect different tire configurations.

Anyone know how to get out of this TPMS Service Required and get the car to relearn the TPMS again?

I learned the hard way that there are some faults that won't clear automatically, when I accidentally powered the car on with one door card disconnected and removed. After that the car persisted in telling me that the egress warning wasn't working. This was cleared up by my dealer, who was kind enough to clear the car's faults for me. That's all it took. Since @prj released the mapev tool, I'd suggest clearing faults with that tool and seeing if that fixes the tire warning you're seeing and lets the car learn the new wheels.

I was able to clear the warning with the mapev tool, and started relearn, but the same warning came up and wasn't able to learn the new TPMS . Its that hard to find the right TPMS? I already found the same stock numbered part.

I tried and gave up with fitting new wheels and TPMS, note that active ride does not work if the TPMS is not working. Not able to offer help, think (but not 100% sure) it is a dealer trip if you change the wheels/sensors.

I do my own tires cuz I'm getting sick of dealers and auto shops damaging my rims.
So, one day I was in a silly mood and decided to buy TPMS sensors off AliExpress, €27 total.
Installed them and they work.
Just lol. 🤪
