Both Stratton and Whistler were once owned by Intrawest!

The under-deck spots are indeed crazy tight b/c of the supporting pillars.
I'm not sure exactly what year it was built, but IIRC it was already built the first time I skied there as an adult in 1985, and probably not yet built when I first skied there as a kid in 1979.
So it was probably built when America's cars were at their smallest!
