^ I think that plus a credit card reader. And they all have Magic Docks. But so far they’re all hooked up to V3 power cabinets. Hence the unofficial v3.5 moniker. So sharing 350kW across four stalls (although can be configured to share power across multiple cabinets), but 250kW max per stall, or 130s for Taycan with the 150kW/400v option.

So what was the improvements made in the v 3.5, just longer cable ?
Pretty much. The addition of the payment screen might be a bit of a step back though. It seems to think us Americans read Danish.

I’ve only used the magic dock stations a handful of times but they’ve always worked at the V3 station in Scott’s Valley. The “V3.5” in Roseville has been a bit hit and miss with a couple times I’ve had to move to another charger to get it to work.

I’m new to EVs. Got my taycan last week and so I’m playing catch up on if I can charge at Tesla stations. This “magic dock” is that at all Tesla super chargers now or is this something you purchase?

I think the parking position has been my biggest hurdle while learning the charging spots around LA. And all the EA chargers are under construction haha.

"some" supercharger sites are magicdock equipped - not all - non-MagicDock supercharger sites require an BYO adapter and _AUTHORIZATION_ from Tesla for your type of vehicle - VW/Audi/Porsche are expected sometime in 2025 to be "authorized" - Jan or December 2025 is unclear from the press release.

so you can use "some" supercharger MagicDock sites, but if they are not MagicDock equipped you're out of luck until the fleet is authorized and you can bring your own adapter.
