Looks like the My Porsche app has been updated.

Now with new colour themes! At least they are updating it.

In switzerland the app has become the most useless thing.

The network providers have shut down 3G; focusing more resources on 5G. Problem is that 3G was the only kind of connection that could reach inside underground parkings - and most parkings here are underground.

I hardly ever find a use for the app given the swiss context 😅 so i'd much rather they focus more on the in car software, which people use every time they drive.

I do make use of the app, but also wish they'd focus on the car's software.

Being able to connect to wifi hotspots would be a far more useful way to spend development cycles than arsing around with coloured themes!

I do like that they continue to invest in the app and the changes are mostly moving in the right direction.

My two complaints on this release:
  1. One you select a theme, generally that is all you want to do. But in this design the theme selector choice remains very prominent on the main screen taking up a lot of space. Once selected it would be best let to a settings menu option.
  2. They have moved the PVTS+ (Porsche Vehicle Tracking Service) options into the "Vehicle Details" menu and down the end. But left all the other similar options on the home page under the theme options. It is just a strange place to put something that I use a good bit. It would be better if it was grouped together with the "alarms", "vehicle management", etc options.

anyone figure out how to access the digital owner's manual? It's buried after this update.

It's a nice attention to detail that the image of the paper manual changes to reflect the chosen car,

does yours default to manual? I had to scroll that layer 3 times over to see it. Mine defaults on Charging Equipment

Yes. But they continue to miss the biggest opportunity: the manual should be automatically edited to match the vehicle's current option set. So easy to do, and it would make the manual so much less confusing.

Just tick every option on ordering and then the manual will be accurate!

Not sure if it’s just me; but since the update the car preconditioning is only doing “heating” even when it’s “heating” down from 25 to 21 degrees 😅. They forgot that it’s called cooling?

Agreed - but Porsche want you to know what you're missing out on.

Sigh. Porsche and their software. This is what I get in the new version of the app:

I'm sure this will get quietly fixed behind the scenes at some point. It worked before.

I thought this happened to me, but assumed the car was cooler than I expected...
