Mines an MY22, no issues so far with the heater until today when I decided it was a bit cold. Even set to MAX it’s blowing out cold air only despite being fine all winter (never hot like other cars I’ve owned but always warm).

I’ve had a read through the many many threads about heaters on here and will see if it continues tomorrow before contacting the dealer. Must admit I assumed heater-gate had died down now.

Has anyone had theirs randomly stop and then start working again? Or is that wishful thinking?

"Heater gate" only went away of you had your heater replaced with the new version (in theory/touch wood).

Had yours been replaced?

No, all original because I’ve never had an issues until now. Heading out to try it again shortly

I think it's more a question of "when" rather than "if" with the original part. It's a poor design rather than something impacted by other reasons.

I actually thought all cars were being recalled to have it fixed. But am sure your dealer will sort.

Mine did a couple of recalls over a few days when mine was done (I hadn't even had heater issues).

For the record, my MY 23 CT4S had the heater replaced earlier this month with 11k miles on the clock. I ran a OBDII scan, cleared the codes a few times over 2 days with multiple power on / off cycles and it never responded. Finally had to have it repaired at the dealer. Good news, my dealer in Utah had a heater in stock and turned it around in literally 24 hours including some recent recall work (battery and PCM software) + cable recall #2. The speedy turn around could be that I’ve developed a familiarity with these guys from all the repair visits. Maybe doesn’t hurt that I have an open ticket with PNA to buy the car back too. Sounds negative but I actually love this car, I hate that quality issues, recalls and some really bad decisions have driven Gen 1 car resale values down.

My dealer didn’t have any loan cars for weeks so I’ve added the heater repair to the job card for the first service in June.

Despite this failure and the many recalls I still love my car, best I’ve owned and would buy again!

Funny you should mention as mine is going in for this 60 day HV batt recall check that I conveniently received 1 week after purchasing mine ! and at the same time I have asked them to check the heaters out, and similar to your thoughts, my heaters also only get warm if I ramp the setting right up and that cant be right ! in past cars I've always set to 22 degrees to get toasty, and I'm finding myself continuously ramping the heating up past 25 degrees on auto, and then it randomly turns off. Its never a straight forward set & forget.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have an estimated cost for heater replacement? If you somehow got a chance to view the warranty invoice/etc

The heater part list cost is US $876, online discounted cost from Porsche dealer is $794.

I hope you’ve better luck than me. I’ve always set heaters to 20.5° on first heater but now the temperature doesn’t hold and I have to up and down temp. Find it worse when around 12° outside. Have reported every time it’s in but never changes, have 6 months left and while love the car I won’t be buying another Porsche EV. I’m very lucky to have a newish 992.2 base 911 in the garage for fair days and weekend fun. So will move to another EV make for the daily to and from work horse

Mine never went wrong but was changed FOC anyway.
I must say set to A/C eco and 21C my cabin is always comfortable so I am sure something is wrong if loads of adjustments are needed.
