Hi,

I'm picking up a 2023 Porsche Taycan 4S, with 34,000KM tomorrow. (Ireland)

Very excited! Haven't owned a Porsche since selling my Boxster in 2008.

Some times mid-life crises can be fun

Now please tell me I wasn't mad, and this will be best decision of my car-owning life

Even with a few software gremlins, the Taycan is still a great car for driving and it is much more useable as a family car than the Boxster of course

I cut my teeth on a boxster, moved into a Panamera and now onto the Taycan. I’ve loved em all but there’s something special about driving an iPad with Porsche designing the experience. Enjoy the ride

Hi - i'm about 9 months ahead of you (welsh in england though), bought a 4S last august, terrible OPC customer service, but apart from a failing heater ("they all do that sir...") its wonderful.

Sold my Golf R, and my boxster 986s to turn electric for the first time, hadn't even driven a taycan until i collected mine. Still have my 968, had another 986s, a panamera too.

Its, the taycan, a fantastic thing / tool.

If you've got 21's then watch for (winter) potholes - i've had two blowouts and one fubarred rim, hopefully the roads are better over the sea.
