OTA - High Power Electrical OTA update

Hi all,

Whilst out enjoying my toy it told me that an update was available. Stopped, prepped for 3 mins, 7 mins of updates and apparently my High Power Electrical system has been updated (RWD PB+ 2022 model). Anyone else seen this? There is not much detail apart from "Its going to charge fast, still" (Paraphrasing). Not seen one of these proper OTA updates before!

Wow this is the first significant update in a while, and maybe the first OTA that wasn't superficial PCM stuff. Can somebody share a photo of the update description please?

I guess since I have the LTE problem I wont be getting the OTA update.

Is there a way to connect the car to a home wifi ? the volvo does to get maps and high size file updates.

Not as far as I’m aware.

I have the opposite first world issue in the Tesla. It *has* to be connected to Wi-Fi to get an OTA update downloaded.

Ideally this should be an either/or choice which allows the driver to decide depending on prevailing cellular/mobile coverage and/or Wi-Fi coverage.

It just said High Power OTA update and it would take around 7 minutes, not any description.

Wonder if they're doing an A/B release.

Release it for half of the cars and watch if stuff breaks

I went back in after the update and looked at notifications (I think) and there was a brief description of what was done. Cleared now as it was yesterday, doh!

There’s an app called “updates” in your PCM. You can force it to check from in there.

Nope. Was a feature of Russian spec cars only.
