Porsche Taycan PNW Taycan Meetup Taycan at Kerry Park
LINK TO FINAL LOCATION / TIME INFORMATION

The Pacific Northwest is a great place to drive an EV, and I think it’s time we had our own Taycan meetup. In fact, all we need is a location, a date, and a bit of interest from Porsche Taycan owners, and I think we would have a great time. ?

I’m willing to check on possible locations. There are three breweries on 202 in Redmond that might work out, and of course the Redmond Town Center parking lot would be empty on a Sunday morning (Exotics is Saturday).

If there is enough interest I'll start working on dates and location. Fair warning though - the only weekends that work for me are these weekend days – 6/28-29, 7/26-27, 8/9-10, 8/16-17, and 8/23-24.

If this sounds of interest to you folks in the PNW, DM me and let me know which of the dates above would work and I'll see if I can put something together. Also, if you are "lurking" on this Forum and don't have a Taycan yet, or have a Macan EV, and would like to drop by, let me know as you would also be welcome.

This post goes out to everyone who has participated in the PNW Washington Taycan Owners thread including --

It also goes out to anyone with Seattle or PNW in their username - @SeattleTay, @SeattleYates, @PNWadam, @PNWEV.

I'd like to call your attention to this thread, in the hopes we can arrange a coffee house or brewery meetup sometime this summer of 2025. I'm happy to coordinate this and of course if I need help I'll reach out, but for now I'm just getting level of interest and preferred dates.

ACTION 1 -- Proposed dates in my post above, and I ask that you DM me with your full name, and as many dates as possible from the post above that would work for you. I have already heard from @jakeCT, and @tkhelm who have sent me their dates.

ACTION 2 -- If there are other PNW forum members who are not listed above please either send me their username, or make them aware yourself.

Hell yeah! I can do:

6/28-29,
8/9-10,
8/16-17,
8/23-24

I'd be down for a group drive too! Tje drive up to Spada Lake is a lot of fun if you don't mind a little gravel. Or up Mt Baker is a lot of fun. Or even just a lap around Mercer Island can be a lot of fun!

Thank you for taking the initiative to organize this... unfortunately I no longer have my Tayan, but still in the Porsche family. I'll be traveling much of this summer so please plan without me. I will definitely try to make it out if the dates align.

My summer is shaping up t be hectic, but let me know what you decide on and I'll try to show up. FWIW, Saturday mornings are bad for me. Sundays can be good.

I've narrowed the dates down to possible 6 different days across 3 weekends in August. That is what the folks responding to me are suggesting work best. Current leaders are --
  • 8/9 or 8/10 - 10 people
  • 8/16 or 8/17 - 7 people
  • 8/23 or 8/24 - 8 people
UPDATE LOCATION/DATES -- I've tentatively found a place in Redmond/Woodinville that hosts events such as this called Watts Brewing. They will let us show up around noon, and have parking for our cars.

They also will let me set up a Sunshade place outside, and they offer great beers, brats, pretzels, some wine and other food. You don't have to buy anything or course, but they are a smaller craft brewery that's trying to get their name out so if we buy some stuff it will be good for them.

The dates they have available are these -
  • Saturday - 8/9
  • Saturday - 8/16
  • Sunday - 8/17
  • Saturday - 8/23
If you haven't responded and want to come, please DM me with your name, location, and preferred day(s) of the 4 days above.

Watching the thread. No longer have a Taycan anymore, but like others still have in the Porsche family of vehicles. If I'm still welcomed, I'll meander on by if I can find time in either the PHEV or 4.0l dino juice converter.
