Its a RWS or PAR error?
My tool showed an error in the RWS module.
They did the whole suspension commissioning process. I am guessing that calibrates PAR too.

I'm going to keep the car like this for a bit and see what it does.

Dealer performed the whole active ride commissioning process, said they can't really do much else. If it pops up again they will have to make a ticket with the mothership and see.

My loaner was a J1.1 GTS on 21" Spyders, and man what a drastic difference in suspension quality. The CT with PAR is like floating on a cloud and glides over bumps seamlessly while the GTS throws it's nose up at every speed bump. When pushing it in the corners the PAR car manages to stay more neutral. Grip was better on the CT as well, but it's probably down to the tyres.
The GTS will always be a firmer ride as it’s a different beast. it’s a shame you did not have a J1.2 GTS with active ride to compare

I have driven a J1.2 GTS with PAR. It's more stable but suspension quality was harsh with the dynamics package. I have not driven one with 20" wheels or without dynamics package.

Mostly due to the 21" wheels though (and the somewhat firmer tuned dampers don't help it either). On my Turbo S going from PZeros on 21" to winter tyres on 20" the ride quality difference was immense for the vibration/harshness part. Not so much for the suspension travel, as that does not change of course.

I mean since the hardware on the GTS is identical, the only difference anyway is the damper rates, and that just doesn't make that much difference, because the GTS still has normal, sport and sport plus, and I'd say the "normal" is somewhere between "normal" and "sport" on a Turbo.

Welp...

Porsche Taycan Project Purple - MY2026 Taycan CT4 1770943824600-0k

Everything 100% stock, no spacers no tuning. There's also something 100% wrong with the rear end, driving on a straight flat road the rear just bounces around up and down. Sometimes less sometimes more.

Seems it's going to be loaner time again.

I have to say I'm not a fan of seeing this stuff on a new car :(

Who would be... :D

It has done less than 200 miles from new, already been to the workshop once with this fault, and it's going back. This is clearly something they got wrong at the factory though.

Error happened today while being very close to the Porsche dealer.
Called my service rep and they were able to take it in right there (30 minutes before closing).

We made sure the ignition never turned off, and they were able to get a full fault log and a video for Porsche central with the error active.
It always happens when coming to a stop or just after starting to move the car.

They said they had one car with a PAR issue, but there it was making all kind of strange sounds in the rear. They replaced one air spring, but that did not change anything, after that they replaced the rear PAR servo, which was on backorder for over 2 months. This fixed the car, and it didn't have issues since.

Though in my case the PAR is not making any strange noises at all, and the DTC that I get is definitely in the RWS module with the suspension controller just logging a bunch of reactions. When the error happens the car drives completely fine, the only thing that doesn't work is the rear wheel steering.
The service rep did say that if there is a par error the RWS also gets locked immediately though, but let's see what the factory says...

Car was at the dealer yesterday for a suspension check. Got to drive an ICE cayenne, and thats just as horrible as I remember.

Long story short - front left strut has an air leak. They are going to be changing it once the part arrives.

So at least at the moment they found nothing wrong with PAR or RWS rather an issue with the air suspension. Let's see if it solves the issue...

Isn't this similar to when we first heard about this from @Alemany Turbo GT?

Could be. They have a special test procedure for the suspension that takes a couple of hours.
They explicitly said that it's not PAR though, but the front left strut leaking air, but since it's all one unit the entire thing is getting replaced.

Well, now waiting for the part to come, they will call me next week to confirm the installation date.

Yes. That was exactly my problem though took them a very very long time to find it.
Your solution was to change the front struts and it solved it?

My car is newer than this recall, so it's fixed at factory. They are also replacing the whole strut, not fixing it.

Did a 185km drive today one way.
-3C outside, snow and roads not fully cleaned. Nokian winter tyres on the tequipment wheels.

Speeds 80-120km/h, mostly around 100.

This used 41% of the battery with 59% remaining, giving a full range of 450km or 280 miles.

For these conditions it's really good. I think it will be over 500km motorway range in summer.
