Rear Camera Washer - Not Working

So when I reverse, I get that icon to wash the rear camera. If I press it, it acknowledges the press, but there is no fluid. I tried to find it in the owner's manual and some searching, but is there something I'm missing?

I don't have a rear wiper or Cross Turismo though. There is a wash icon on the screen on the rear camera, but nothing happens when I press it even though it looks like it's acknowledging the press.

Check to see if the washer is really there. It is very tiny and easily dislodged.

Nope.

Assuming there's water in the tank it could be that there is an airlock preventing the flow.

Failing that, get someone to check from the rear to see and listen.

If the camera/ washer housing is damaged then that could be a problem too. The water nozzle is quite flimsy and may have been dislodged.

If there's one thing more pathetic than the backup camera, it's the backup camera washer. I have to push the button several times, and then some tears dribble over the lens and distort the image even more.

Mine is also not spraying, so I have made a note for next Porsche visit (probably ARB6 recall, as that letter came recently), so they check. Button reacts, the motor seems to try to do something, but no fluid comes out. So I wipe the camera by a finger...

Generally speaking, on my Taycan, it takes three pushes of the icon to get the fluid to squirt on the camera lens. I think the washer fluid leaks out of the line running from the washer reservoir in the frunk. And then it takes a couple of pushes on the icon to get the line primed up again.

Same with me, usually 3 pushes will result in a dribble, but that’s never enough and after a couple more presses it stops responding

I usually push three times at least and notice nothing. The nozzle looks fine and aimed correctly.

Just keep pushing i was told. It's a bad design and a long line. Eventually it will start. Works for me.

Question: does anyone who has problems with the rear camera washer have a rear screen wiper? I have rear wash/wipe on my ST and have never had trouble washing the camera: water comes straightaway.
