Retrofit installing the Electric Sound Component?

Does anyone know the approx cost for
Porsche to retrofit the Electric Sound component to a 2 year old Taycan

The cost is your car's purchase price minus its depreciated value, when you sell it to buy one that has it.
But seriously, I don't know of anyone that has done this, perhaps because of cost.

It's available in the tequipment store so I guess it's not that difficult to retrofit

Only my opinion but I don't see why you'd want it - it's fun for 10 minutes then you turn it off and forget about it.

It's fitted to my GTS so I get the special GTS sound - it's wasn't new so I didn't spec it. I only turn it on when someone new gets in the car and we pretend we're riding an Endor Speeder - for about 30 seconds, then grow up

Me too, mainly to alert pedestrians and wildlife.
Level is too low inside however, hopefully someone can find a setting in PIWIS for that.

Likewise.

I never used it often, but after I got mine loaded with the GTS specific ESP I find myself using it more during spirited driving to get some more "feel" out of the car

Well I disagree. I use it in urban environments to alert pedestrians etc and it adds an sonic dimension to the performance. I turn it off at cruise speeds on motorway/highway. I wouldn’t disregard it. Mine is GTS sound with the downblip which makes me smile. I like it.
