September 2022 deliveries

I don't think this ship has made it to Emden yet.

There's a huge backlog of cars to get on ships (mine has been in Emden since 6/26], so It would make sense to have an interim spot they're stashing them between the factory and port, to not fill up the port lots.

Ships seem to be running 3-5 days behind on docking and then stay in port for an extra few days...further delaying subsequent ships.

Supposed to be on vessel today and delivered 8/20.
However, there's no ships available going to the east coast and it's missed 2 or 3 options already. Next option is the San Martin supposedly landing tomorrow...after that it's the end of August.

I'm expecting September. Original date was May then July now August.

Well, pretty bad update for me, in line with what happened to @ladylow87. Delivery pushed back by 3 months from 9/16 to 12/16. Production completion pushed back by 1 month, but importantly it says it'll take 2 months after emden port arrival to get on a boat. Feel like this has to be related to issues with shipping. Wonder if negotiations re: the German port strike are going bad, so they're anticipating a full stop for a while?

I know some of our UK brethren have worse waits, but man I did not expect nearly a year-long wait after putting my deposit down in late Feb for just a RWD. The dealer had a car incoming that actually was 85% of the spec I wanted, and was on its way for May delivery. But was told there was an allocation for a custom slot with July delivery. If I knew it was going to be Dec, I would've just bought the incoming one or an E63/M5.

On one hand, I hope we don't get the MY2023 price bump, but also annoyed I'm getting delivery of a MY2022 at the end of 2022

Same situation with me -- went from September 9 delivery to December 9 this week.

Ordered in May.

I guess it could be worse.

I'm seeing similar bad news to what is being reported here, having just now slipped from September 2 to November 25 (this is on top of multiple other slips in the schedule over the last few months).

I had this thought as well but they never seem to do this. Things rarely get checked off quicker than anticipated.

Looks like there is a wave of delays hitting most of the cars in or nearing production. I just got bumped from a 9/30 expected dealer delivery to 11/15 for a '23 CT4. Ordered in May. Not sure how these estimates are calculated. So much seems uncertain, even in Germany.

If you ordered in May and got a sept delivery, that would have been incredible. It means that your car would have been built in late July or early Aug. I am in the same area as you and ordered in Jan. My car was built in July. Not sure when it will be delivered due to port issues though. Could be as late as Sept….

Looks like the same bad news everyone has been reporting... The on vessel date is now November 4th and dealership arrival has been changed to December 9th.

My deliver date is now showing 12/02/22. Almost 5 months from the original.
I don't know what to say now.

Updated my post as well. I also had three months added so my new delivery date is 12/02/2022.

Edit with more information for those keeping score at home: My car is ultimately headed for San Diego. Track Your Dream shows it (on a truck?) at Lindenbecker Weg in Düsseldorf, Germany and that has not changed since the 28th. Satellite view just shows open fields, golf courses, and a horse stable in the area so I don't know if I believe that is where it actually is.
