I'm sorry to hear this, especially @whan and @RAHRCR whose dates had been tracking closely with mine. I cancelled my Taycan last month (for unrelated reasons) and ordered a X7 M60i. Despite a BMW-US production, I have run into similar limitations and some delays. Wishing everyone good luck on this 'journey' and can't wait to see your cars! I'll skip this round and be in the game when the facelift Taycan CT/ST comes around...

Updated my post as well. I also had three months added so my new delivery date is 12/02/2022.

Edit with more information for those keeping score at home: My car is ultimately headed for San Diego. Track Your Dream shows it (on a truck?) at Lindenbecker Weg in Düsseldorf, Germany and that has not changed since the 28th. Satellite view just shows open fields, golf courses, and a horse stable in the area so I don't know if I believe that is where it actually is.

Well some good happened just now. I went to re-load TYD to check the map and noticed that the my.porsche.com page now shows that my car is produced and gave me production images! Little victories.

The thing is, most of our cars have been produced and waiting for shipping.
I don't see how they would want finished cars awaiting for long period of time.
I remembered few years ago there was a shipment of car awaiting at the port for long time and cause wear and tear to some parts

Just heard and confirmed with my SA. Porsche wouldn't let their car sit at port for that long.
So hopefully some good news for us.

My Taycan GTS was supposedly at Emden Port on 07/04 - this was the "actual date of milestone" previously shown in TYD. Interestingly, TYD now shows 08/01 as the actual date of milestone for the "Arrival Emden Port" step. I'm not sure if that means my Taycan never actually made it to Emden Port on 07/04 or if it's still stuck there because they weren't able to load it on a ship.

I'm on the West Coast (Washington) so I assumed that I would be on the Glovis Sunlight that's currently at Emden Port and headed to Benicia, but I guess my car didn't make it onto this vessel either.

Hi All,

It seems that my.porsche.com and Track My Dream is not available in South Africa. I've been told that the Dealer system shows my car has been produced. Is it all possible that someone on this forum can see where my car is and its' status?

I'm not sure if the system is just specific to the car that you have bought or whether you can see other peoples cars. I feel like i'm missing out with all your photos and status updates.

Not sure how accurate this update is, but I'm hoping that others also made it for an Aug/Sept delivery!

Happy for you - I'm hoping this means that the delay for some of the rest of us may not end up being that bad. Looks like you had a 1 month delay to get onto a boat vs scheduled. Means that the port still seems to be operating in some capacity. Given the factory shutdown hopefully they can clear the backlog of completed cars waiting to ship, and be on schedule after the break on shipping assuming the strike doesn't resume and fully shut down the port

My car was supposed to be done just before the shutdown but appears it will be done now a few days after the break. So hoping it'll get on a boat shortly after that and arrive at beginning of Oct if all goes well....

I am in the West Coast as well. My Production Completed was at 07/11/22 (around 2 weeks after yours). Its currently showing In Transit to Emden Port since 07/12/22. Hopefully I will get mine 2 weeks after yours. I will be satisfied with that.

Only your dealer has access to your car status in this case, you could ask them to send you a screenshot from Porsche Sales & Vehicle Management System like in my first post.

I think the reason for fluctuating dates is component availability. I was told in April that Bose component shortage was adding 6 weeks and I imagine there have been other shortages which affect one order far more than another.
