I've noticed that on some well designed speed bumps (rounded off nicely), when taycan drives at about 20mph over them, I dont feel the speed bump at all (car stays flat).

My car is specced with PDCC and theoretically, PDCC disengages anti-rollover bars when driving straight, which should soften the suspension as both sides are fully independent.

I wonder what is the experience for those without PDCC?

The PDCC suspension on the Taycan is one of its great strengths. I live in a city with a lot of old brick roads and the Taycan is more composed and comfortable on these roads, and over speed bumps, than my wife's MB S560. Yet, the Taycan still drives like a true sports car.

I would encourage driving over those things with care and don't become complacent.

3mm ding is all it takes.

I don’t think PDCC does anything in non-body roll suspension travel….like a speed bump.
I agree. PDCC only responds to body roll. That is why they have developed Active Ride that can do many things including speed bumps. I have a graphic of how many things AR does.

I find that with PDCC, I can slowly go over a speed bump at an angle (so only one wheel is engaging the speed bump at a time) which seems to provide some benefit. Not enough on its own to buy PDCC. Personally, I like PDCC because I find that it gives the car the widest range of from lux/comfort to sport. I have never experienced a setup that provides such a wide range.

on a standard car without PDCC, anti rollbar is always engaged at its peak/normal stiffness which connects left and right suspension overall increasing stiffness. But when car has PDCC, active rollbar is fully disengaged (or has minimum firmness) hence each side suspension is more independent, effectively making it softer.

I'm not saying the difference will be huge or one should option pdcc for that, main use case is eliminating bodyroll in corners (Which I love and cant live without because I hate any amount of roll)
but side benefit likely is additional ride comfort

I feel that my car (Taycan Turbo) without PDCC has minimal body roll in sport (plus). What is the real difference with PDCC? Minimal body roll in normal mode too?

"minimal" is relative? You've to drive one with pdcc to feel the difference. for me the difference was significant in all modes.

from what i heard active ride adds lot of comfort by keeping chassis very flat over bumps, curves in normal mode. however, in sport mode active ride is turned off.

No it just has sport based movements rather than comfort based. Things like leaning into the corner are disabled in sport mode so it doesn't feel odd when pressing on.

I don't have one, but from what I read, it's only the front to back rocking compensation that is turned off in Sport(+). Side to side compensation is absolutely still there in Sport and Sport+, it performs the same role as PDCC used to do.

PDCC Sport active roll stabilisation: quick to react and efficient
The active roll stabilisation system, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport), uses electromechanical anti-roll bars. When required, the system reacts in just 200 milliseconds in order to stiffen the anti-roll bars to prevent the body from rolling. This makes PDCC more than 30 per cent faster than similar systems using hydraulic actuators. A further advantage is the lower energy consumption of the system, which is particularly important for an electric vehicle and allows the electric range to be optimised.

porsche doesnt explain or compare it to other passive anti-rollbars. they're more stressing how it is more efficient than implementation in other cars like Rivian R1S or other gas porsches. (R1S uses hydraulic active rollbar, same as McLarens). Do they explain it well for gas car pdcc like 911?
