Taycan charging slower than other EVs

That option would’ve capped the peak at 200 kW, so it wouldn’t have been that either.

I don't have eco enabled. On my long trip where I visited ~30 EA chargers, I don't think I saw over 200KW at more then 3 of them, so perhaps EA serves as the Taycan battery saver . Usually my charger rate was ~185KW then dropping as the battery got fuller. Some chargers were only 150KW, there the Taycan would pull ~137KW and then throttle after battery got fuller (I never saw full 150KW on 150KW charger, perhaps it's due to losses). Max charge rate I observed on a 350KW charger was 253KW, SoC was 25%, destination was set to the charger and just hopped over a mountain pass so battery was definitely preheated.

Thanks again for the information. I would be happy with 130kw at a 150KW charger, since I only was getting 68kw the other day and the BMW beside me was getting about 120kw. I have to make to to use the navigation to preheat the battery. If that doesn't do it, then I'll take it in for service.
