The compass has some utility at least and I quite enjoy the altimeter. I think I could live without it. It looks a bit like a wart stuck on top of the dash. I’m sure Posche can program a compass and altimeter into one of the dash screens. Certainly a case of less is more.haha. That clock has always been a gimmick since they introduced it on the 997 generation of the cars (Cayman, Cayenne) as part of the Sport Chrono package. Back then, it was literally a stop watch. It was just as difficult to use back then as it is now.
Interestingly, the Taycan, Macan and Cayenne all offers a compass (CT only). I'm going to try to retrofit it on my GTS. I think it's super unique, and reasonably useful as it's an altimeter and displays degrees heading.
