Tips for new Taycan owner??!

sit in the car for as much time as it takes to scroll through each setting, set things to where you think that you'd want them and just familiar with the PCM and what can be adjusted, it would be wise to have the manual handy to assist you learning the car. there is a lot to absorb so take as much time as needed.

Don't use Apple Car Play at first (if you are an iPhone user) - learn the PCM without it. I'm a tech guy and Porsche real sucks at their implementation, therefore you have to gain an understand of how they structured everything. There are many glitches but if you keep at it, use the forums for tips, you'll iron out most everything. Aside from that, you'll love driving it, so if you get frustrated, turn on some good tunes and just drive!

Lift the front end judiciously.
Get front end PPF.
Install a radar detector.

I'm a tech guy and Porsche real sucks at their implementation, therefore you have to gain an understand of how they structured everything. I'm not a fan of Apple Car Play because I don't want passengers to read or listen to my texts as they come through. I'd much rather simply have my phone connected to a car's blue tooth. My Mercedes I'm getting rid of lets me answer the phone with a push of a button on the steering wheel without touching the phone, and then it comes through the car speakers. Is the Taycan the same?

Use a knuckle to lock it and download the charging app. Set park assist surround view on the steering wheel custom button.

Also don't forget to unlock the car before you try and remove a charging cable. I mean, who would be stoopid enough to be yanking on the cable for 20 minutes before trying unlock.

At delivery, before you drive away from dealer, make sure the car shows up in your MyPorsche account on desktop. Do not accept delivery until the Taycan is communicating with the MyPorsche app on your smartphone(s). The "emergency call" indicator light near the interior rear view mirror should be green. If red, your car is not communicating with Porsche servers. Get it green before you leave dealer. I agree.....

She might tell you she wants to potter about sedately and be polished every week, but when she goes to sleep at night she dreams of a fireman thrusting her round tight bends and making her tyres squeal.
