Good evening everyone and congratulations for the forum.
Have any of you modified your Taycan's ECU to increase performance?
Is there something or someone who carries out such preparations?
Thank you,
Greetings,

You’d want to be quite wary of any third party companies that claim to unbutton a heap more juice.

Personally I would not go there whilst this particular car is in warranty: the power electronics and drives are ££££. I certainly wouldn’t be unleashing some faceless script kid on this.

Sure, I agree with you but I don't support that my RWD is stuck at 230km/h and I can't get it to unlock.
Does anyone know if any trainer is capable?

Try these guys. Supposedly they have something in the works for the rwd/non-turbo soon.
Someone had a link or post showing that Turbo and Turbo S Taycans had greater battery degradation than equivalent mileage lower trim Taycan.

I'd wager that this is caused by the greater strain on the battery when under full power. Pushing the peak power drain another 10-20% as this tune implies can only negatively affect the battery. I'd stay well clear.

Now, increasing the power of the RWD within the power envelope that the same battery pack delivers to 4S or GTS is probably much less risky, or just unlocking the top speed beyond 230 km/h without increasing the power drain are probably benign for the battery pack.

They now specifically list the Taycan GTS in their web site, which is so tempting. If they are still offering their tune/unlock when my warranty runs out, I may becone a customer.
Which warranty? Battery warranty is one hell of a wait.

That might make sense if Turbo drivers were using that extra power on a frequent basis over non-turbo cars. But if you compare the discharge rates of my 4CT and daveo4ev's Turbo on the track, it's averaging around a 1.3C vs 1.8C. Those C-rates don't have significantly different degradation in lab tests.

Having said that, any powertrain modification is going to come at a compromise of something else. It'll be interesting to see if battery degradation is one of them, or perhaps you just hit thermal limits before getting to the point battery deg becomes significant.

Good point. If the tune was in place and the 7.9 year old battery failed, I can imagine that Porsche might point a finger at the tune when denying a claim.
