I guess this has be covered extensively already.
Don't think about the actual mechanical turbine part. This is just a way to sort models in the lineup. Could either be "Performance", "Plaid", "Hellcat", "z01", "RS", AMG... but all those are already trademarked.
My 991.2 has turbochargers but is not the Turbo model. It's meaning is not literal and as stated - it's been covered here before. Thanks OP for the redundant thread.
Porsche have now repurposed "turbo" as being the abbreviation for Turbonite (a recently discovered cheap-looking alloy that looks like it should be used for goth jewellery) which now exclusively adorns the higher trim levels.
