I cannot understand, how a performant e-car can be called "Turbo".
That sounds simply stupid in my ears!

All ICE Porsches (nearly all) now have one or two physical turbo chargers except for the EV lineup Blame EU emission regulation for the ICE cars.

Historical reference really to the original aspirational 911 Turbo of old now carried over to the Macan and Taycan EVs.

Only the Cayman and Boxster don't carry the badge even though they can have a turbo charger.

Strange but true...for now.

Anybody want to get rid of their TURBO Aero Wheels? Hint: the Exclusive Design wheels aren’t exclusive, nor are the RS Spyder Design off the RS Spyder.

Porsche have now repurposed "turbo" as being the abbreviation for Turbonite (a recently discovered cheap-looking alloy that looks like it should be used for goth jewellery) which now exclusively adorns the higher trim levels.

And… the Taycan Turbo GT has no Turbonite in or on it

Taycan faster
Taycan even faster
Taycan almost the fastest
Taycan fastest

Those in gloss or satin black would be a $1k option.
