My hopes that they fixed functionality were dashed. The windows always open is back, only disappeared for a couple of days after updating the app - must have reset something which fixed it temporarily. The new “just updated” is just as useless as the green dot used to be - the current status shown seems to have nothing to do with it (e.g. status changes while while the app says “just updated”, for example just checked the app, it tells me “just updated” and that my car is unlocked, WTF, but give it a minute or two and now car shows locked - I looked out the window and the car was locked all the time, so Porsche app just seems to display randomly outdated status even when it says “just updated”). So it seems the update is mostly cosmetic :(
In my case this 'Just updated' looks really ridiculous as the 4S has been dead for 45 days now. This is correct on the tire pressure page. This 'Just updated' is just to make you think the connection is now faster!
I complained about this and got generic reply to remove user for PCM.. switch on-off... remove privacy mode.. go skiing .. add new user. In earlier cases that's few days work ...
So they did not want to understand what was reported.
4S is still waiting it'son board charger which may come 2.2.24. And then we will find out what else is needed to quit the BRICK-mode.

I agree that it is goofy that a user has to reset the "closed state" of a window after a 12V battery disconnection. That extra pull of each window switch to the second setting should not be necessary. Bad design decision on Porsche's part.

But.... At this point I just hope that the reset holds and that I get good info from My Porsche about the state of the car going forward.
UPDATE - I parked the car, locked it with all windows closed, and went in to grab a Starbucks.
  • Initial Status - App shows windows open rear left/right (Shit!)
  • One minute later - App shows all windows closed and doors locked.
The delay is disappointing, but I'm glad to see that the status does update correctly. The delay does seem to be less than in the past - not great, but getting better.

I’m wondering if anyone checked charging records? I made an export to PDF from day 1 and
there are lots of them missing …the last record is for July 2023; also in between, all records (date/time) are strange. There are lots of days, where stands that I charged four, five, six times on the same day (never happened!), so I’m quite sure that theymust have a huge mess in their databases or…

Also, total average consumprion is far from real. In my case, it’s 17,3 kwh/100km, but I’m 100% sure that I haven’t had a single drive with less than 19.
Based on what I was monitoring between charges…. I’d say 22-24KWH/100km (Summer-Winter) would be OK, but there’s no way below 20 at all.

my guess is: somehow they lost about 1/3rd of charging records… so, if I add 1/3 on 17,3kwh =23kwh/100km… that’s exactly in the middle between 22-24:angel:

The charging records include multiple EVSE devices. Try scrolling right to see if you have any other devices. I had the same concern initially, but found that I was looking at the wrong EVSE.

I was charging only on my mobile charger.
Actually, they charged at The dealer few times as well…and I’ve been on public DC charging station twice this January, but there are no other charging stations on the screen…also, the last record is feom July 2023…

i noticed that on yesterday’s PDF, there summarised 105 charging sessions, while today there are 106 sessions….so it’s definitely a bug in report function :headbang:

Charging records for DC and offsite charging are in separate spot from charging records from your own EVSE.
  • Click the center icon in history to get offsite charging records.

Thx, but I knew that.
There are no DC records at all.
Speaking about AC…as I said last record dated as July 2023.

I would check to see if the PMCC is connected to the Internet?
Check on the display of the PMCC to see if it is connected to WiFi and also the cloud symbol.

Log in on the PMCC directly as well to see what the status is.

I think you have lost the connection between the unit and Porsche servers?

That’s possible, but I don’t know how other records were recorded.
I don’t have wi-fi where the car is parked, and LTE could be low signal…but it’s the same as before.
Also, firmware upgrade to pmc2 has been done, it’s slightly different GUI, so it has to be connected.

But I’ll check next time, thank you to mention that. :like:

For the DC records, did you click on the history tab?

I like the recommendation from @Scandinavian to check your cellular connection at the PMCC as a next step to get access to your home charging records.

DC records are empty.
I’m wondering why number of charging sessions updated (yesterday 105, today 106 recording sessions)?

Already sent a message with explanation, but… looks that I’ll have to wait for 2nd or 3rd level of support. Their initial response was… a shame for even any noname company.
i was expecting something else from Porsche

I am not sure I fully understand you here?
If you have no WiFi signal where the car is parked, is that also where the PMCC is placed?
I thought the PMCC needed WiFi or PLC to communicate to the Porsche servers?

Porsche do this different then Tesla. With Tesla all the charging sessions, AC or DC are recorded by the car. But for Porsche you rely on getting the AC charging through the PMCC and the AC and DC charging via Porsche Charging services. If you for instance charge at a Tesla Supercharger, you will not get any charging record in the account. Any AC or DC charger outside of the Porsche charging service will just not register. Unfortunately!

There’s no wifi where the car is parked and where i charge it.
Looks that LTE is enough, otherwise firmware would never be upgraded, right?
